I remember that from history class. McCarthy was a paranoid crazy loon with his big scary list of known communist infiltrators, gonna full french revolution style inquisition and execution. That class left me with the impression the US is paranoid as a whole and we have no enemies on the world stage. At age of 22, 2016 was when I woke up.
