There might be a great awakening around the corner. The realization that, on policy alone, DJT was a great president. There is no organic enthusiasm on Biden/Harris. Their policies are garbage, energy prices will go up, new wars, transgender men in women sports (today even a twitter hashtag was allowed to trend).
As soon as the economy tanks, the taxes rise, it is going to get really interesting. They will have to devise even nastier schemes to stay in power. The left is already fractured. They might try to fracture the right, by convicting DJT, maybe even imprisoning him, to agitate real unrest.
I have been saying this for 5 years now, first to the "Trust Sessions, trust the plan" assholes. You morons are dead weight. You didn't achieve anything. You make us all look bad, by being fucking morons. Get lost.
They are either incompetent, or they tried to occupy the controlled opposition space in the mainstream like Fox News. Everyone knew what happened to Gab, they either ignored it, or they thought it wouldn't happen to them, for some reason.
But what seems to be much worse now is, that all user data from Parler is compromized. What a fiasko.
The more i read about the parler hack/data dump, whatever you want to call it, the more i'm pissed off that this garbage got pushed on the conservative movement so successfully.
I hope everyone takes note, and never listen to the losers who got us in this mess in the first place. I stopped using the app immediately when it asked for a phone number.

we may all become criminals in the near future, guilty of thought crimes. Let's get prepared. This short overview is by no means exhaustive, and i'm looking forward to additional suggestions. It is aimed at people without a technical background, with objectives that are realistic to achieve, if you invest enough of your time. None of this will guarantee anyones privacy and anonymity. We have to make it as hard as possible, to track and shut us down.
Because they will try.
- Client computing devices: Switch to open source operating systems. The bare minimum for everyone is to ditch windows/macOS and switch to one of the more user friendly linux distros, like Manjaro, etc. Choose something, that you can maintain as your daily driver, and get familiar with it. Even the less security oriented linux distros ensure, that big tech has less control over your device, but it won't yet ensure your privacy. Significant privacy can be realized on a read only dedicated live system, or a dedicated machine running Qubes OS.
On Windows and macOS it's entirely feasible, that certain software or even urls will get blocked under the pretense of "stopping hate" in the very near future. Also, "telemetry" data like from Windows 10 is surely filling up the NSA xkeyscore databases etc.
On Android phones you may be able to switch to LineageOS, and not even install Google Play Services. There are also new mainline Linux Kernel phones on the market, like the Pine64 or the Volla Phone.

Network: Use a VPN (provider of your choice, should be based in Panama and not keep any logs) at all times. Use a startup script to connect. NordVPN has a nice linux client, but every provider should at least offer .ovpn based configurations. Some of the security centered linux distros enable VPN/ToR by default.

Services Use Signal as your messenger of choice, also available as a Linux Desktop client. Host your own private services like Nextcloud, and Mastodon. These services in particular are decentralized by design, but are also able to form mesh like networks between them. Decentralization is key to our digital survival. Donate to the ToR Project, and if you have the means, run your own exit node. Our future may lie in the deep web, if we like it or not.

Crypto Get familiar with the usage of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin e.g. doesn't offer real privacy, there are tumblers available for sensitive transactions. If you are running a business, evaluate accepting cryptocurrencies.

DJT is an incredible President, but he failed in one important regard: He didn't drain the swamp. It appears to be deeper than ever, and they aren't scared of him one bit. Big tech censors us more than ever, Hillary is walking around freely, the "new" FBI director openly works against us (Antifa is not a thing, voter fraud is not a thing), and so on, you get what i mean.
Imo DJT is just too nice of a guy. He isn't vicious and cunning like our enemies on the left. He will unleash an angry tweet from time to time, but he is a paper tiger. He had many years to do something about it, and he didn't.
I truly hope he still wins, but if he doesn't, and it feels like he won't, we have to learn from this. We have to support a much nastier guy. I want someone ruthless. I want someone who will do what's necessary, to drain that fucking swamp by any means necessary. Pence won't be that guy. Donald Jr sure as hell won't be that guy.
