Unpopular opinion. There is the possibility they sat on this investigation because these things take time to settle and back in 2018, Trump didn't have as much appointed judges as today. He would have walked free or the corrupted judges would have stalled the process until the election and in the case dems won the election, Hunter would have walked free as well Now, with a likely Trump win , more appointed judges, most of the swamp neutralized, it's the perfect time to start investigations, it has more chance to end in indictments.
Sometimes we want things to happen fast but you have to wait the perfect time for your plans to work.
