My wife was in more or less the same condition. I explained to her that sometimes, in fact probably most of the time, criminals get away with their crimes. Letting it affect you does not change that or help the situation. She stopped watching tv news or looking at social media. Other than the occasional feel-good item, such as Trump's lawyer issuing the beatdown on that fake news person, she is disengaged and in a much better place currently. Get your mind focused on other stuff. Personally, I've started learning about gunsmithing. Will I ever be a gunsmith? I highly doubt it, but I find it interesting and a nice use of my spare time when I'm not working.

A few years ago NYC was fining restaurants for extending even a few inches onto the sidewalk. I'm going to laugh when they remember to start fining again for the 'outdoor seating' areas.
