I don't get the connection you are implying. People demanded a vaccine and GEOTUS worked with the pharmaceutical companies to get one asap. He is not a scientist, he is a GEOTUS. We apparently ended up with a vaccine that sucks, but I'd hardly say it was some kind of bizarre plot to sterilize the population. And I have no doubt Trump wanted a safe and effective vaccine, which they probably claimed they were making. Pfizer may be an evil pharma company, but they are not Umbrella. They are just trying to make money as fast and as much as they can. They released a crappy product in a record quick time.

Have you considered NYC? While not rural, it is pretty much a wasteland now. Gun laws are not a problem, unless you intend to actually obey the law. Price per acre is kind of high, but people are fleeing like crazy, so prices will probably drop. Great city and state leadership, assuming you are ok with corrupt homicidal maniacs. Not worth nuking, so you're probably safe with that too!
According to my lefty friend who is trying to convince me to get the vaccine, it does not prevent you from getting corona, but it lessens your symptoms. I told her, "it sounds like it sucks, why would I get it?" Her head just about exploded. It was hilarious.
Wait a minute. If voter ID is racist, then this must be super-racist. Minorities can't be expected to get vaccine passports and there's no way any minorities own cell phones!
In all seriousness, having lived most of my life in NYC, I feel truly sorry for the people stuck there. My advise to them is -- move! Even if it means uprooting and having to settle for a worse job, get out. Manhattan is pretty much a hellscape already as the entire City soon will be. NYC has some really bad times ahead.
Odd how the White House youtube channel doesn't allow comments under the current administration. You'd think they enjoy seeing all the praise that viewers would no doubt heap upon the most popular president of all time.

They can try to oppress me based upon the color of my skin all they want, but unlike others I will never play a victim. Is what they are doing stupid, evil and ridiculous? Hell yes. But I'm an individualist. I'm rapidly becoming a rugged individualist due to these circumstances, but I'll never bow or beg. In fact, my ultimate goal is for the government to get out of my life, not run it for me like these failures and sheep.
The comments usually seem to be on for a while then, after the fill up with Biden quotes and other stuff, they get turned off. I can't figure out if it's a youtube thing, or if they just keep trying each time thinking "maybe this time people will make positive comments - nope, shut it down again".
Not that we'd ever know, but I wouldn't be surprised if this were true. I live in a blue state and I saw massive enthusiasm for GEOTUS but almost none for Quid Pro Joe. Our streets were lined with Trump supporters on many occasions. Road signs, bumper stickers, flags everywhere. People I spoke to supported Trump 5-1. Anti-Trump people I spoke to (can't say I met anyone that affirmatively supported Biden), couldn't understand how so many people, particularly minority people, loved Trump.
I suppose you could say it's all anecdotal, but I believe my eyes and ears. Just as when people ask why I think the election was stolen. I don't bother getting into all of the witnesses, affidavits, video, whistleblowers, etc. I just say I've watched every election since I was a kid and I was watching on election night this time. I've never seen anything like what went on. It was obvious to anyone paying attention.
