I totally agree. I've been re-posting this a lot today, but it gave me a weird sense of comfort reading it last night.
All it is is a recounting of the very bizarre military orders, firings, and appointments Trump has done in the last month. It starts to paint a picture. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe nothing at all will come of it. But it does really make you wonder what he's doing right now. It's certainly not the kind of thing you expect to see from a guy who's about to be leaving office.

I just did a quick search and found several stories related to the firings. Weirdly enough you get different ones depending on if you look on the phone vs the desktop, but either way, yeah, it's not just Esper. It's a whole mess of people.
Without the search feature it's going to be hard to find the exact links on here. I know about 3 or 4 weeks ago there was a big round of layoffs at the top of the pentagon, then on Friday afternoon another story circled around here saying a generic email went out to several more pentagon staff saying if you are getting the email it means you are fired. So, I don't know who is replacing those pentagon staffers, but I've seen the reports of the firings.
Just saying. It's hard to read this list of things that have provably happened and say he's not doing anything.
