Can we get some thoughts/prayers for our LEOs in the big cities? My husband is one in LA, and we are both worried (even if he doesn't show it). I need good vibes because I am more anxious for him than the election. People in LA just are not sane.
Did my part in the Lancaster/Palmdale area. I saw one Trump/Pence sign in my whole neighborhood. Maybe three or four American Flags. Yet, I see more Trump support out here than when I lived closer to the city. While small, it's nice to see the MAGA support when it comes up. All the voting places seem a bit bare, though.
My sister says says that he's not very happy this got out on the internet. So, maybe he does need that beer. Lol.
I had to watch this video 30 times and make some calls because I never thought I would see my dad go viral. The man in the white beard dragging the kid away is my dad. My sister said all was descelated and everyone had a nice lunch after. They also said the dad looked annoyed at the screeching mother. Lol.
I have noticed some smaller Trump/Pence signs out where I live in California as well. This is in a city where there might be five American flags around entire blocks. Of course, we live a bit farther from L.A.
They are small signs, but they do give me hope.
Exactly. My husband is a police officer, and he stated that it's actually normal for an officer to nearly use a whole magazine. Maybe not normal (his choice of words is sometimes poor), but it is quite common. Pistols, of course. I don't know what the stats are on shots fired with a rifle, but we don't talk much about his job as a rule. I overheard this when he was trying to tell his mother that seven shots is actually not an overuse of force. She's a leftist, but at least she seeks to ask before being frantic!

I am not sure. As an LEO wife, I learned to turn off the news for my sanity for this last month or so. He works in the rough, and we have a rule about talking about his work at home. As crazy as that might sound! I worry quite easily. I never bothered to check, but I should have looked more into that! It wouldn't erase my worries, though. He was already almost ambushed the other night, but he was lucky his SGT was like, "Yeah, not going in there."
