Our local cops are fantastic, reasonable, and patriots. I get the drumming they are getting nationally, but that's not my cops and I would never disrespect my local cops because they don't disrespect me.
Talk to local business owners, a lot of them are hard core patriots. Peruse places like facebook and find the 'outsiders' on local boards, they're probably conservatives.
Go to your city hall webpage, all meetings have to listed (and minutes are put after words incase you missed one). Go to those meetings, you'll meet people that agree with you, band up with them, get a group of like minded to approach together and get your voices heard. It's a slow approach, but its how we have to do it. Like not wearing masks, if you're the first to take it off, you'll be amazed how many follow quickly. Just need that first, some times YOU have to be that first. Go to these meetings, when you can, speak up against things you don't agree with.

It's really amazing talking with my brother about restaurants and bars being locked down. Last summer it was looking like we might have an opportunity to move down to the city for 'better' jobs, but they didn't pan out. Lord was looking out for me, no doubt there. Kept my happy ass right where I was.
This is VERY important, but don't forget, get involved in local government. We need to really start attending local town halls. Start locking down your towns, get your cops on your side (sheriffs), make sure they stay that way. Be part of the system that can buffer against the federal government.
Unpopular opinion, but the local governments have a lot more power over your day to day life then you think. I live in a small town, and have for the most part been unaffected by Covid. No mask mandates, no businesses locked down that didn't want to lock down etc. It's been nice. My brother lives about 100 miles south in the closest big city and he comes up every chance he can to do simple things like shop at Lowes cause its 'normal' up here. This is all thanks to having a Governor that gave the towns the right to decide what they wanted to do and us having towns that did the right things. If you read, you'll also find towns that told governors to fly a kite on their covid restrictions and everything works well too. Local is how we start, give us a buffer.
Despite the air that they give off, the federal government can't be all places at all times, and have to work closely with local governments.

One thing this pandemic has shown us, is just how little we need these types of entertainment. I know I'm not alone in turning off sports, not missing cinema, not missing concerts etc. I've found other things to do, a lot of time it has to do with my family, which is so much better.
