The first time I heard this and really remember hearing it was at the 50rh anniversary of D-Day. They were honoring survivors from that day and they had a color guard of Normandy veterans and they started playing the song. The got about 3 notes in when I just broke down. Those men were not so different from us: common men, descent men, who, but for the circumstance of the times would never have believed they could accomplish what they did. They did and we will.

This site, the entirety of this movement is something to behold. The TEA Party fizzled out, but this will keep going. Why? Because the TEA Party had a single goal and was against something. This movement is for something - freedom - and this is international. It really does transcend national boundaries. It is about returning government to the people who matter - the taxpayer citizen. This is about opportunity for all, not just the enrichment of a few. We few, we lucky few to see this whole thing unfold.
I am truly blessed by God. I was old enough to appreciate President Reagan, saw the collapse of the Soviet Union and played a walk on role in that as part of the world's greatest Navy, serving on the most feared warship to sail on this planet or any other: the USS Bunker Hill. I saw America return to space, twice. And now I see a real rebirth of the American spirit; borne out of the destruction wrought by corruption and greed , we see a new light and a new hope. They mocked us and laughed when they saw us on our knees; they stopped laughing and started fearing when we said Amen.

I have always wanted to visit France and other western European countries when I retire, but I despaired given what I see in the news. I know things are probably bad, but as long as their are people like you standing up and getting involved there is hope. Keep fighting.
