Well I'm not an apple user but since its was removed from the app store that may have caused the issue. If you are savvy enough maybe this will help. Start a backup of your phone but exclude the parler app. Then restore the backup and it should be gone. Again, not sure about this just seems like something you may be able to do.
Its possible your phone was purchased with parler as a bloatware that can't be removed. Im not sure about ios but androids usually let you at least disable it.
Hold the app icon till it starts wiggling. Then press the small x on the app icon like your closing a windows on a computer. It will delete it.

I was going to use graphene but I found calyx. Its graphene with the option to use micro g that mimics play services for notifications and such. You don't have to have it though. I chose to because I dont have alternative apps to fill the gaps.
Proton has mail and a vpn thats affordable so I went with both. Both are free or you can buy a plan. Some users could use the free stuff for life and never need a paid plan though.
