I really appreciate this, thank you. I know people have it far worse than I do. I apparently don't qualify for any benefit as I "make too much" even though every cent of my check goes into rent, payments on a now damaged car, and student debt that I cant claw out of. I'm sure there's light at the end of the tunnel, it just sucks its so far I cant see it.

Not gonna do anything crazy, it just looks very bleak and I hope ya'll on here are having it better

No just everything is looking bad as I lost the thousands I had in savings over mismanagement at work and now my car being vandalized. It's just very bleak currently.

If I could, I would brother. Nursing isn't as in demand as you think

Oh I despise how fake progressive everything is here. These people don't care about whatever minority or cause of the week they're championing. I want out, I just literally lost my ability to leave and still have to deal with student debt, Cali is the last place I'm going to.

Haha I've tried, believe me, I hate this place after 20 years here... I was trying to save up for a downpayment on leaving to texas to raise a family, but financial woes removed the entirety of my savings, Even as a nurse, we don't get a break on easy access to jobs despite what's said. If I could move to a quiet, peaceful red state, I would.

Holy shit, share this to all your texas friends people, we cant let traitors like this ruin that great state.

Baffling that our own news media won't report on this absolutely historic scandal. Draining the swamp should start with firing all these fake journalists pushing activism against reporting the facts.

Redpilling the masses one fact at a time. Thank you for your service in the truth wars.

This man might've just sealed the deal with Hunter. Not in the gross way, thankfully.

To be fair, why would anyone want to spend a weekend relaxing in a room previously occupied by the homeless and covid patients? NYC's hotel industry is going to go through a major downfall for at least a decade, as someone who's lived here for 20+ years can say.

Lived in brooklyn all my life apart from a short couple years in delaware for my first nursing job. I cannot believe how much we changed for the worse in ten years.

Thank you! We're trying to leave here soon, it'll take a few years due to losses from the covid restrictions but small town or suburbs far far away is exactly what we're looking for.

I'd say she looks very fine from all sides, but then that'd get me called a bigot or something by buzzfeed. No brakes though, in a few years I can recoup my cuomo driven losses and get out of here

You're being really generous, scumbag is too nice. I cannot believe such a significant amount of people here still like the guy.

Davkav 2 points ago +2 / -0

lol it's a welfare state but as a middle class guy we got screwed. What pisses me off is that people here are totally ok with their once amazing city degrading into a shithole and are thankful politicians are doing it...because they say that orange man is bad. Lemmings are not what I want to raise my kids around

Idk man AOC won her district with an insanely high percentage, and she's the face of stupid here.

Looking at Houston for years now, actually had enough saved for a downpayment but then Cuomo forced me out of work and I had to use that money to keep me and my gf afloat. Just got to keep going, but it'll take years to recoup...

appreciate the brick, thank you!

It's really not that far from that to be honest. Sure there's quite a bit less mugging going on but think about it, there is no power left in the police against violent protestors, your politicians literally do not give a rat's ass about you unless you're wealthy, and everyone has a mindset that sacrificing the entire economy of NYC is worth it to lower the low infection rate of a bad flu

I actually lived in Delaware for a year! It was good, just a little boring. If it was warmer I wouldn’t mind moving there.

Thank you! And yes this was totally what they wanted. Hampton dwelling elites don’t care how the rest of us plebs feel
