This is dumb. House leadership simply flip flopped session and recess weeks. They were supposed to be in next week and recessed for district work week the first week of Feb. they simply swapped those weeks so it’s now recess next week and in session the first week of Feb. There is no “conspiracy” here.

NG will be through until the inauguration. It was requested.

People need to wake up and stop sharing a fake news Newsweek story about a Democrat bill that would have used taxpayer money to fund incumbent campaigns.

H.R. 1 was absolute trash and should not have received any Republican support.

lol bro the bill was trash. It would have used tax payer money to pay for campaigns thus allowing the federal government to dictate elections rules and the Dems outright rejected amendments to include voter ID.

It had 1 Republican vote in the House. Do you really think 196 Republican House members oppose real election security? Let’s use our brains here folks.

Newsweek is baiting you. The “election security” bill the article is referring to was the “For the People Act” which was overwhelmingly rejected by conservatives in the House.

Directly from the article: "Clearly this request is not a serious effort to make a law. Clearly something so partisan that it only received one single solitary Republican vote in the House is not going to travel through the Senate by unanimous consent," said McConnell on the Senate floor.

This won’t matter if they had pallets of ballots filled out sitting in a closet or were filling them in at the counting locations. None of those traveled by mail.

Yeah what in the world are these clowns talking about. First to open up, 2nd beat economy in the country right now, and no make mandate. Kemp loves Trump.

The problem is that our SoS sent out absentee ballots to everyone in the state prior to the primary which added unsolicited vote by mail to the voter rolls.

You do not want Washington to determine your state's election laws. Absolutely not. Federalism retains your voice in these decisions.

This is the first presidential election that the GOP can have poll watchers in the room. That will go a long way.

It’s not unusual for a frosh to be a vice chair. It’s a meaningless title and generally just means that person is the first person committee staff turns to to fill in for the chair when they have to step out of hearings for a media hit or meeting. It doesn’t have any special power and does not mean you’re next in line for the chair. It’s kinda an opportunity to get mentorship as a frosh. Each subcommittee will also have vice chairs, often freshmen.

Johnson is a globalist. He just supported Brexit. He's totally in on the U.N. "build back better" agenda.

I'm a bit worried now that the September protest was a psyop and was never intended to happen. No one here took it seriously. Now no one is expecting it to really happen.

I'm sure he knows R Hill staffers that have friends that work across the aisle and could be working on the campaign. That's not at all an impossibility. But it's more likely that the text never happened and this was just a troll. But don't let that distract you from the fact that on june fourteenth in nineteen forty-six there was a man born at jamaica hospital medical center that would one day build four hundred miles of border fence in a four year term that his predecessors couldn't accomplish in forty years.
