Conservatives have not had the backing of all mainstream media, numerous multi billion dollar entities, and seemingly almost every government official that actually matters. There's a reason conservatives did nothing but play defense, and that reason is that they weren't allowed to do anything else.
There's extreme measures, obviously, but you can't expect people to resort to those extremes without sufficiently extreme motivations. Probably right about at that tipping point now, but given that pushing people to violence is clearly the intent, it's probably too late for it to do any good unless Trump actually pulls something off.
Hmm. I signed up for an account...but I can't remember if I used my cell number or old google voice number. Aside from that though, I posted almost nothing at all, so shouldn't be a huge issue...being a lurker has its benefits. Maybe.
Fuck these left wing terrorists though, seriously.
Eh, someone else in this thread pointed out that Elon liked a post by Jack Dorsey posting an image where Signal has taken the #1 spot on the apple app store, since Parler is gone and no longer #1.
I'm also seeing now that he's been promoting Signal over Facebook recently. No mention of Parler or Gab. Maybe that's nothing, but I can't imagine he's just unaware of those two, yet he's promoting Signal. That's signaling something to me (pun intended), so I'm pretty much done expecting anything from him in this area unfortunately.
People have been calling Parler controlled opposition due to their backers but...you kind of have to wonder here, if that's true, would Amazon/Google/Apple do this to them right now (or at all really), with the obvious fallout being that Gab gets to sweep in and save the day?
As a rule I try to look at everything going on as though these deep state types have considered the variables, and know what they're doing. I can't work out why they'd gut Parler at the most crucial moment, handing Gab this gift on a silver platter. Maybe just to...do everything they possibly can to stop conservative comms online until the 20th, banking on fascist crackdowns to undo the problem once Kamala gets in?
Yeah, that's probably it actually.
33 million people >_>? I wonder if that's an exaggeration because...that's a massive influx if true. Probably just a bit, but still great news.
I wonder how many people out there are actually glad Twitter and co finally forced this to happen. Idiots just couldn't bear to leave on their own.
It is fairly clear that there is no real internal power struggle going on; the establishment controls most of the government, while we (and Trump himself) ARE the opposition.
Again, it's POSSIBLE that there is actually some highly-improbable spy-vs-spy shit going on behind the scenes, and that everything might turn out to be magically okay because the spies on our side won and fixed everything for us. If you'd rather bank on the slim possibility that someone is going to run in at the last second and save you, rather than accepting reality and the fact that the only one who can save you is yourself...well, perhaps communism won't be so bad for you.
If you really believe this, then consider that Trump could actually get things moving without saying anything that directly incites violence. Why have people decided that there's still hope at this point? Because there's rumors that Trump is working on the final option in the background, with the military. People also continue to believe this because the wording of his last video message can be interpreted in several ways. As everyone knows, he directly says we're not done, and most importantly, he didn't state outright that he's conceding. He didn't mention a Biden admin as what's being transitioned to, and that new administration could simply be one that doesn't include Pence and all those people that resigned.
Of course, you could look at that and say it's a huge stretch, but just consider that all Trump would have to do to end the "tick tock trust the plan" stuff going on is actually say full stop, "I concede, and we are transitioning to a Biden/Harris administration". It's not inciting violence, yet that's all it would take. If you think Trump is part of the opposition and is on our side, I think it's safe to also assume he'd consider what effect those few words would have. All hope that anything further is going on behind the scenes would go right out the window, instantly, and anyone holding back for that reason alone would have no further reason to do so.
I'm thinking there's a strong possibility that he didn't say those words for a reason - a reason other than pride. At least, I hope that's the case.
Really? Gonna have to go find that, because that would just about say enough for me if it's true. Unless he doesn't run his own Twitter, maybe.
edit: well shit, it's true. Adds up though, there was no way he could be the richest man in the world without being allowed to rise so high. Shame, he was my second favorite billionaire for a while there.

Account is still there. Although I guess it hasn't had a post in 8 hours, could be he's locked out. Dunno.
Only thing that seems to make sense at this point is that what Trump is doing is out of their control and they know it's inevitable. Seeing no better options, they're creating a narrative now so that once they're all arrested they can then say, "look, see?! we warned you! it's a coup, save us! send the UN, anyone!"
Or it's more mundane than that, who knows.
I kind of like the guy, but he's the richest man in the world. I don't have a problem with that, but the odds the richest man in the world is actually a decent guy/going to remain a good guy/not about to die due to not being evil enough seem slim.
The only possible solution I see involves bringing an end to having our country informed almost entirely by disinformation. Whether that's from the CCP, globalists or whoever, it needs to stop. If somehow there does come a time that the media isn't 99% disinfo, without a central disinformation apparatus dictating and coordinating everything that gets reported, then there can be factual reporting again.
As I understand it, most people don't trust MSM as is anyway, so the problem comes down to the fact that most people are just too apathetic to do all the research it would take to find out what MSM sources aren't telling them (and they probably like the lies, because they've been conditioned that way by now). Once factual information is no longer suppressed, maybe the problem fixes itself?
Maybe. Unfortunately I feel like the left has a lot of people that are simply out of their minds. The indoctrination seems so complete that I feel even if they were fed accurate information, they would reject it until they were told something that fits the style of narrative they're accustomed to. Especially in the aftermath of what would have to happen to bring about this scenario in the first place.
So I guess I can hope it's true that the insane left really is a smaller minority than we've been led to believe all these years.
I just finished reading the Harry Potter series a few days ago (it's far from the only thing I've ever read - just decided it was time to give it a shot since everyone started hating JK), and I was pretty surprised by how much the situation mirrored present reality. It also wasn't nearly as good as I expected going in, but that's not the point I suppose.
But yeah, you would think they'd notice the correlation, but from my experience on leftist forums, they have the ability to twist anything around in their heads. Take all the concepts from the story that blatantly mirror the left, and simply attribute them to Trump/Trump supporters, despite any logic against it. If they can't twist their brains hard enough to attribute some evil to Trump/supporters (very unlikely) they will ignore it. No matter how many times it comes up, it will be skipped like a blank in reality. The same goes for evil on their own part (such as Antifa being a group of fascists).
The problem with the left is simply that they're either insane, or the most massive and dishonest mob of people ever born. There's very little that can be done to make them see anything rationally, which is why I stopped going to those forums.
Well that's interesting. I've been wondering about a solution to the Android problem. I'm too reliant on smartphone features to ever drop them, meaning I'm at the mercy of Google, even if I get around to disconnecting from all their other services. A Gab phone could fix that, so there's something to look into.
I'd be glad to see this, but I'm pretty sure they don't care.
