Had a burner account for a while on Fakebook until they banned me. Asked me to prove my identity because I was using a fake profile pic and I took a picture of my hand flipping them the bird and sent it to them.

Not much but it was satisfying for me at that time.

Could it be the real whore got the virus after all? She had to quarantine but didn't want the news to be known that she has it so she had to get a body double?

Lol no problem.

As far as being able to speak, it depends on the person because I've been told that I speak well enough for certain people to understand me but not all. Once they get used to my way of talking, they will understand me better.

So right off the bat, I don't expect anyone to understand me immediately but I can say short words fine. To carry a dialogue is difficult for me because I'm not accustomed to using my voice all the time.

For short conversations, I'm fine with using pen and paper but if we're going to engage in a lengthy dialogue like an interview then I'd need a qualified sign language interpreter because it saves time and speed the convo up.

A lot of employers are uncomfortable with the idea of me using an interpreter and they'd think I require one all day long, everyday. It's not true. I only need one if we're going to have a team meeting unless they can print out what's being discussed, the minutes and stuff people said at the meeting for me to read later on then that's fine.

They think by hiring me, I'd be bringing a lot of issues aboard and I've already told them how it has been done at my previous employer (I worked in retail and had to talk to a few customers but not all the time. I had to use Notepad for Windows/TextEdit for Mac to communicate with my co-workers or text and it went flawlessly) but apparently it wasn't good enough for them.

Not only that but one of their excuses, even though it's not explicitly stated in the job requirements, is that I am required to use the phone 90% of the time. I even called out their bluff but they said, "Well it's one of the expected skills we're looking for when hiring someone so we didn't think to include that in the job requirements."

I know they're BS'ing because I know phone skills is important if you are doing call centers but I didn't apply for call centers, just system admin. and networking jobs and I've already talked to some of my hearing friends who work in the same field and they said they don't really require phone skills. If necessary, they text each other or use the ticket system. The phone part comes in when they just want to talk rather than texting.

And I thought I was the only one with the "communication issues" because of my disability (deaf).

I do not have a communication issue and I can talk to people fine but THEY have an issue communicating with me because usually most people are apprehensive toward a deaf person like me. They don't know how to approach me, how to say something and how to get me to reply.

Because of the "communication issues" I apparently have for being deaf, this has stopped me from starting my career job in I.T. since graduating from college about 15 years ago. I'm truly hoping the H1-B program will go away completely so I can actually find a job in I.T. cuz I really love working with computers. This is why I went to college for and I would hate to see my college diploma be transformed into a really expensive toilet paper with gold lettering.

I understand your out-of-work tech friends' pain as I haven't even started my career job in IT since graduating from college and that was about 15 years ago.

People were telling me I'd do great at any company I work for as my skills are exceptional and desirable, yet I couldn't find one anywhere cuz of the H1-B visa workers and the blatantly obvious part that they wouldn't hire me due to my disability.

Had a job interview with Microsoft and the NSA and all of my interviewers were Indian (8 in total from both). Then went on to do interviews for other companies over the years and I'd say 85% of the interviewers were Indian. There was one company that I almost got a job with and the interview process broke out in three interviews and the first 2 interviews, I had a white interviewer then the last interview was with the boss of the company and he was... Indian.

The first two interviews, they were saying, "You'd be a great fit for the company! I'm going to recommend you for sure!" while being excited and awed. The Indian interviewer appeared to be disinterested during the interview and didn't ask many questions like the first two interviews. He also stressed that my disability may be a problem there because the position requires me to talk 90% of the time to customers on the phone. And to think in this time and age of technology, we'd adapt away from the phone to using chat apps (either app based or web based) or they could maybe modify my position by distributing the verbal related workload to others, like the employer for that retail job I worked, did for me?

Nah. It was easier for them to not hire me to save them the headaches. So if I had to go through that kind of struggle and your out-of-work tech friends are struggling, then yeah H1-B visa recipients and the program need to go ASAP!

Thanks for the info, that's something new and oddly enough hasn't been mentioned yet!

I believe it's a paper ballot system Ohio is employing right now and I will be careful as to not make any marks other than the ones I intend on making, on the ballot.

What do they do with the discarded ballots? I would hate to see them just toss it in the trash bin because I believe I'd prefer they tear it up as to invalid it further while making it official it's discarded and not to be used. I would hate for it to be used as a "reason" that the election has been rigged because the supposedly discarded ballots are being used along with the valid ones, if you know what I mean?

Thanks for understanding and also another reason for not disclosing my info is to ward off the trolls that may sign up purely for doxxing reasons so I try to keep it on the down low as much as possible.

One of the few things I can share about myself is that I'm deaf for obvious reasons but the main reason is that if I engage into a conversation about something and the other party would point out something like, "Did you hear what he said in the video? If you didn't, go back and listen to him" and I'd be like... Um... well I can't because I'm deaf. To hide the fact I'm deaf would be impossible to do so as I can't feign being hearing as far as audio goes.

Also thanks for the info about time. I'll definitely look up the hours of operation so I can plan ahead!

Thanks for the explanation! I think we will be voting early, just to be on the safe side as we have several factors to consider here.

Have always been polite to everyone, even those who hate Trump and us Trump supporters and yes, including the ones with the nose ring, pink/purple hair dye, tats all over body and the effeminate males sipping soy lattes.

Will be watching the results live on Nov. 3rd, even though it may give me stomach cramps! It'd be like watching the Cubs win the World Series (and yes I'm a lifelong Cubs fan)!

I will definitely do that! Thanks for the sound advice!

Based on the responses I got here, it's better to check every single Republican box as if you're voting straight R.

If you tick the "Straight Republican" box, while leaving everything else blank, it can give them the opportunity to manipulate your ballot so yes, it's better to tick each box for the Republicans!

And I will, now that I'm enlightened by the responses in this post. I'm really glad I made this post so I'll be voting straight R!

Deaf_MAGA_Pede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks and before today, I didn't know most of the candidates but thanks to everyone, you including, I've found the resources to research on each candidate. They appear to be the good guys as they share the same views as Trump so I'll be voting straight R in this election!

Thank you! Yes, because I'm deaf, I always take it on myself to learn everything necessary to get far in life because I don't want people to take advantage of the deaf community.

I can go on with stories on how I was on the verge of being taken advantage of until I took action to fight back and managed to right the ship, but that will be for another time!

After looking at the sample ballot, it looks to be a good one as most Republicans are running unopposed so the only thing I need to be concerned about is the judges and the proposition on the school tax levy then I'll decide accordingly.

You're our future as well because we all need to work together toward a better tomorrow for EVERYONE involved in America! Even if the liberals don't like it, someday they will look back and realize they were wrong for opposing the "patriarchy" and hopefully they will be thankful for us for saving them.

If the liberals don't realize it soon or later, they're a lost generation of their own and they can move to a communist country if they want. Cuba is nice this time of the year, I hear!

Thanks for the explanation!

Also be sure to brush up on ballot initiatives before voting. They're often a way for the Left to sneak crap past everyone by sugar coating what they really mean. They usually give a short synopsis, but they're usually not accurate. It would be like if they they allowed election commissions to print summations of candidates on the ballot. Imagine what they would list for Trump vs. what they would list for Biden. That's how bad they can be.

Have you seen my post about this? https://thedonald.win/p/HrAquF8A/because-im-disabled-deaf-i-get-n/c/

That disability newsletter I got, pretty much made Biden look like the angel America deserve and Trump the devil we all need to cast out. I've already emailed both the person who mail out the newsletter and the director and haven't heard from them. They probably didn't think anyone would call them out...

My parents told me that in the county they live in, they were able to sneak an awful initiative past the voters that allowed gambling in the county despite the fact it wasn't a popular initiative. They did it by simply by listing deceptive wording on the actual ballot (think lawyer-speak) and via a misleading public campaign. They told people it would restrict gambling facilities to a very limited zoning area, but in reality it allowed gambling anywhere in the county. Within a week of the initiative being approved, a former hotel was converted into a casino just minutes from where they lived, which was very close to a previously quiet, residential area. Exactly the opposite of what they publicly claimed the initiative would allow.

Wow such a rotten method to do! Yeah there's this proposition on the ballot for the school levy tax and I'm seeing a lot of signs around town saying, "Vote NO on the levy!" so I'll do some research on that but yeah no one want more taxes lol.

Sure am deaf! My wife is also!

Thanks for your concern, however we should be fine on that part. Part of the reason why we are considering voting early is because if we run into issues with anyone at the polling place, to the point where we have to leave and come back with an interpreter, we will have time to vote. If we had issues on ED then we may not have time to vote and all of this would be for naught.

So far I've been able to communicate with people by lipreading/gesturing and writing on paper or using my phone so I think we will be fine. But yes, if it escalates to the point where an interpreter is absolutely necessary, I have someone in mind who should be able to volunteer their services to interpret for us both.

Again, thank you!

Lol I know what you mean but I've seen the sample ballot and the candidates so they look good to be picked as they share the same views as Trump so no Commiefornia for Ohio!

Thanks!

Congrats and good luck! May we have a safe election for our first time!

Will definitely use ballotpedia to research on the candidates that have a democratic challenger but based on what I've seen so far, most look good to me as they share the same views as Trump!

Glad to see it's working well for you!

I know where we have to vote and it's not far from where we live.

For us, I think it's a safe bet we will be fine voting early as this town is pretty much based. 9 Republicans are running unopposed on the ballot and I've been told that this town is heavy Red. We don't live close to a metropolitan-sized city so we should be good.

Thank you and that was part of my intention in doing the post because I haven't seen a Q&A on voting so I thought I'd be the one to do it to help others who may be in the same boat.
