The green energy footprint of EVs would include the coal energy used to make the electricity to recharge the vehicle. If wind and solar are all that great, they wouldnt need govt subsidies. Did smart phones need govt subsidies to catch on? No. It was a superior product and everybody wanted one. With green energy you have to be forced/bribed to participate.

Actually there is something magical about cutting out carbs. Read Adkins Diet. Fat is calorie dense so you feel fuller eating the same number of calories as in carbs, the full feeling lasts longer, and so you dont get hungry and have to eat all the time like happens with carbs. Plus, fat and protein dont raise your raise your insulin level and so it passes through your stomach/bowels without turning into stored fat. Eating Fat doesnt make you fat. Eating carbs does because the excess calories are stored as fat.
