A friends son went into the academy ,he came to me after 6 weeks and said he had left,they werent teaching them to be peace officers he said,they were teaching them to be ASSHOLES, and he wished there were more cops like "your pops" at the academy. Dad said that cops needed to be over 30 in age,had at least one drunken brawl,not known where they were gonna sleep for at least one night,didnt go to a universitiy while mom did their laundry,had a fight with a gf in the front yard, and had a norkal day job for at least 4 yrs. He said life experience and a few scrapes were at the very least were a required to be a decent cop. I believe he did his best to be a fair and impartial officer,he was a decent man,and did good things in our community. He was after all human and his approach was honest. Those guys are fewer in numbers than ever. Spoke to a woman ystd who said her husband joined the force at age 56 because he still believed 1 person could make a difference! I said theres a guy in the white house rt now believes the same thing! She agreed! We nneed more like DJT and her husband! Its making me think...
