This will backfire badly. I was all for it when they raised the minimum wage from $9.00 to $12 in my area a few years ago (now it is $15 an hr). I was working retail to get out of the house since my kids were grown and thankfully I didn't rely on this job. It was just for extra spend money.
As soon as the wages were raised, the corporate big box store I worked at decided we were going to no longer get two weeks paid vacation anymore and cut all of our hours in half. Then we became extremely short staffed and the place was a clusterfuck. We didn't even have enough employees to put stock on the shelves and we had to do the job of 2-3 people each.
I really didn't care about myself, but there were loads of young adults who needed these jobs to pay their rents. Suddenly everyone I worked with had to get extra part time jobs because all the full timers were demoted down to part time.
I ended up making less with the minimum wage increase than before and just walked out and quit. However, big corporations always know how to make it work for their bottom line. I can't imagine if this law passes how many people are going to have to struggle and get a second job to make up for all the hours that are going to be cut even more because big corporations are not going to want to pay them overtime. They will just hire a whole shit load of part timers so nobody goes over the 32 hours.
My ex-best friend got the clot shot to keep her NYC school teacher job and three weeks later her appendix burst. She was perfectly healthy before. I spoke to another friend of mine, and her sister got the jab, and her appendix burst too.
Another young, healthy person in her forties and in my friend group got the Fauchi Ouchi because she needed to keep her job and 2 weeks later, she was paralyzed on one half of her body. Spent a month in the hospital because they "didn't know how this could have happened" and she now has to have extensive rehabilitation to learn how to walk all over again.
My own majorly conservative elderly father was nagged by my cunt of a stepmother to get it and he took several jabs. I am hoping and praying he doesn't die soon from it. My own mother got told she had to take it or lose her job. She didn't want to take the vaccine and did not trust it. In order to pay her mortgage and not become homeless she took it under duress. She was perfectly healthy and right after that, she got turbo cancer and died within 3 months of taking the clot shot.
People wishing others die here for taking the clot shot should understand that most people did not want to do it, but needed to keep their jobs because they would have ended up losing their homes. They wouldn't be able to pay their bills if they didn't take the jab. You can't just sell your house overnight and move to another state that doesn't force job vax mandates or find another job that easily.
Most people have husbands, wives and children to support. It is a real shame. However, if one of those liberal cunts who took the jab and wished us "anti-vaxxers" died from covid, then yeah fuck them.

I didn't read the story, but it sounds like a classic taper off bullshit they put patients through after taking a med like Xanax for many years for anxiety/panic disorder. All of a sudden they tell you, "Now you have to go off of them", even if they were helping. Then they give you one or two different SSRIs and mood stabilizers that makes you worse followed by a shitty taper off plan. Say you had the same Dr. for years giving it and he retires, no new Dr. will give it and it fucks people up badly.
They usually no longer prescribe benzos long term after patients that have been taking them for a long time, suddenly without warning get told by their new doctors they have to go off of them.
Then they start forcing you to quit taking the benzo (sedative) like Xanax you took for many years. At first they usually try switching you to a lower dose of Valium until they get you down to zero. If that doesn't work they just keep giving you another low dose benzodiazepine alternative in it's place as at the same time they are stuffing useless antidepressants down your throat and then they completely take the benzo away, making a person get much worse.
Then you get a bad relapse and the panic attacks and anxiety come back, and you also go through the most horrible withdrawals. They play a game of "Oh that doesn't work, then lets try you on (insert shitty brand SSRI here)", and keep switching up meds and a person spirals out of control and goes nuts.
My daughter has been taking classes at a local Long Island SUNY school since the pandemic, but not in person because they won't let her on campus without the jab. She is stuck taking whatever online courses they will offer, otherwise she can't finish school and get her degree.
When the lock downs were going on, they had all their classes online. Now they are slowly taking away all the courses that you are required to take to finish your degree from online and just putting useless SJW courses online.
She just had to apply to another SUNY school upstate, hundreds of miles away from our local SUNY school to finish her course requirements. Thank God the upstate SUNY school had the courses she needed to take online.
Slowly but surely they are going to remove courses one by one, so these kids will have no choice, but to be force jabbed to finish their degrees.

I grew up in NYC, in Queens in the 70s and 80s. It makes me sick to see what a cesspool of shit the boroughs turned into. There were once nice, tree lined Queens neighborhoods filled with hardworking Irish, Italian and German Americans who kept everything clean. The neighborhoods were great places to live. Sure there were some pockets of high crime areas, but there were plenty of places to live to keep away from that.

As an owner of an Whirlpool electric convection oven/stove I have to say it is one of the worst appliances I have ever owned. Actually all these so called energy efficient appliances suck.
It takes about 30 minutes to boil water in a pot to make pasta on the glass cook top. I also have to turn the broiler on for 10 minutes and then cancel it and put it on bake mode just to get my oven to 400 degrees to make the damn thing reach that temperature quicker. If I don't do that, it sometimes takes at least 25 minutes or more for it to preheat and reach a temperature of 400 degrees.
If you have to open the fucking door for a second to stir or flip the item baking, the temp quickly goes down to 325 degrees and takes a while to get back up to 400 degrees. I don't enjoy cooking or baking anything in or on it at all.
When we renovated our kitchen, my husband said no gas stoves. I am a burn survivor who was burned on a gas stove severely and he said gas stoves are dangerous. Even despite being in a burn ward for over 30 days from my injuries, I still did not want a lousy electric stove/oven that takes forever to cook our food. Gas stoves are superior and electric sucks.
