Harold Bloom Creates a Massive List of Works in The “Western Canon”: Read Many of the Books Free Online! (OpenCulture link) Well, heavens to Betsy I should've checked this link (again) before posting! But, you get the idea. Harold Bloom is was (Jesus fuck! The news just gets worse and worse here.) a treasure and most of the works he mentioned in "The Western Canon" are available for free through Project Gutenberg, Internet Archive, etc.

Ok, back on track!!

George Sanders, author, very 'dark' and clever. 10 free stories! (OpenCulture link)

Spent all your money on TP?

Perhaps, 'try before you buy'? (Books, not toiletries! Yikes.)

Textbook, "Meaning in Existential and Positive Psychology" highly recommended ($80, in print! Should know, I bought a copy because it's that good. Trust me. These articles on life, meaning, logotherapy, morals, values, death, etc are 'up there' with my ESV Study Bible, as far as "things I'd throw in a backpack if I were bugging out long-term"! Definitely a 10-books-on-an-island selection.) http://93.174.95.29/_ads/5DFA8B78F6ED8E9262DE917D44890495

John Hirst, "Shortest History of Europe" http://93.174.95.29/_ads/727A7F65CE9AB6BEC4B6AB02296CE772

If you have the means, you'd be remiss not compensating these authors for their work! Esp the smaller name ones but all of them, really. Still, seems wasteful buying something that, 10 pages in, you realize isn't well suited to your thinking style and that the author's manner of presenting ideas just rubs you against the grain.

So, it's not for everyone. :I

Here's another in the Creative Commons, if your conscience is bothering you.

Highly recommended!

Be well, pedes. (-_-)

Take care of one another.

Just isolate and take common sense precautions in regards to boosting your immune system. Pneumonia seems to be what gets people so take extra care of your lungs and do what you can to improve lung health and lung function.

Panic only comes into play when you feel powerless... and you are anything but powerless! Pray, take this time to reacquaint yourself with Spirit. With the Scripture of your choosing (I like Christianity)! Do a little spring cleaning and rest and sleep in! Could there be a better time to...

Who would benefit most from the US ramping down our production and manufacturing in favor of "green (red)" lifestyle?

Thaaat's right! ~~~> China!

They're everywhere and already scouting governors for who is open to be bribed and doing their bidding.

"Pompeo to governors: China is watching you. The Secretary of State warns state officials that China 'is working you.'"

And, I'm sure it doesn't stop at the state level!
