Eventually the internet will evolve into servers being distributed amongst the users rather than having centralized servers. For instance, all the users of TDW sharing a small part of the hosting on their own computers. I'm convinced this is the way forward.
I don't know why they were relying solely on AWS, they should have spread their stack out amongst many services, even smaller ones. I hope TDW is doing that.

The events you mentioned have certainly had their effects on the country, but nothing as brazen as last night. The country is free to change as long as that change is done legally, and voted for by the people. This was not that, this was a complete coup, and it was pulled off without a hitch when all is said and done. It was flawless on their part really. They even managed to kill a few of us for good measure.
I disagree that the internet has ruined humanity, it's certainly had an affect. But the rot has been set in for decades, much longer than the internet has been around. The internet has however allowed the information about the rot to flow to all patriots, globally. The problem is that evil people have used the technology for evil things.
