He said he is going to present all the evidence on the 6th, perhaps he's going to present it directly to Congress, which will by live broadcast to the public. This removes Congress' ability to deflect for them, they will have to deflect themselves if that's what they want to do.

I'm not so sure... he's basically laid out exactly what they need to do in order for their argument to work. I read it as, "this is what is required to convince me", and I believe that they'll be able to do that...
He's basically said that
- The evidence needs to be convincing (which it is)
- Show that the failure of the State and Federal courts to act was a mistake (which it was)
- The fraud caused the election results to be incorrect (they do)
If after all of that he chooses to vote against it, then he will need to be dealt with the same as the rest of the traitors. But to me it sounds like he's laying out the path to victory...
He's also saying they need to do this on the 6th, which they do because a 10 day commission is far too long and will just run out the clock.
Assange was initially wanted in Sweden for two bogus rape cases. He was in England at the time an arrest warrant was issued for him to be extradited to Sweden. Whilst on bail in the UK and fearing he would be then extradited on to the US from Sweden, he escaped to the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where he was granted political asylum. During his time in the Embassy, Sweden dropped their rape cases but he remained there because there was now an arrest warrant in the UK for his offence of skipping bail. Eventually his political asylum in Ecuador was revoked and an agreement was made between the UK and Ecuador that the British police could enter the embassy and arrest him. When they did this, the US then applied for him to be extradited to the US. So recently he's been held in the UK for the initial charge of skipping bail (which is a tiny charge, and should not have kept him in prison for so long, especially in solitary confinement at a max security prison).
Trump is probably waiting for this to play out before he pardons him hoping that he can fight it the correct way. A pardon is really the last resort, but I believe it would be given if he had due to be extradited.
