As a science teacher I'm shocked out little kids learn about American History... by changing it to "studies" decreased the rigor of learning.. been dumbing down for decades... Personally I got the highest score on US History in my 2000 person school growing.. Now only the few AP kids might know what everyone was supposed to know 40 years ago.
