Dude, I was a normie before Trump. I used to believe very strongly in building a national consensus and working as much as possible in the middle. I mean, in high school my favorite politician from US history was Henry Clay, the Great Compromiser, and I used to wish we had a statesman like that! But compromise has to be built on some kind of mutual regard. The Satanic death cult that the left has become has nothing in common with me. Their dreams for the future of America are the exact opposite of what I want for my kids. So I used to be all for a left-right alliance, moving together with our fellow Americans. But sadly, I no longer see them as fellow Americans. I see them as domestic enemies.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. The tax-exempt status of churches is a recognition that religion (and the free exercise thereof) is a human institution that precedes government. In other words, the government has no right to tax religion. And if it wants to assert a right to tax religion, then it bears the burden of proof there. Tax-exempt status is the natural state of religion, not a sign that religion is cucked.
