The face/hair options are mostly a human problem. I think they used LA and Seattle as the primary references for how they look There's a reason I only really run Asura characters; more visually interesting and their lore is a LOT more my style. Borderline obsessed with accomplishment and invention, to the point the entire society's built around it.
The weirdest part about the game is nothing gets impactful until you get to max level. It's almost an eighty level deep tutorial. Took them about four years, but the game's getting respectably challenging in a number of areas.
