If I might add for those who are new to trading:
Do not invest any amount of money that you are not content with losing.
You only gain or lose money when you sell shares you possess.
Always consider applicable commission fees to brokers and taxed income on gains when buying and selling shares respectively, or the tax breaks when selling for a loss.
Your chances of securing a gain increase if you aim to make long term investments. Taxed income is also lower on shares of a stock held for more than 1 year.
As far as $GME is concerned...I like the stock.

I agree, but we were also the majority when the China Virus reared its head last year. I feel like the state of mind for most Conservatives was, "we just need do as we're told, go with the flow, and things will return to normal faster that way." But now a new normal is coming and it won't be the one that we want. All three branches of our government have been overtaken with no way to lose that power, and 'Democrats' can now give the Constitution whatever meaning they want it to have, unopposed. POTUS wants peace, I get that and support him, but what will he say if and when there is a mandatory buy-back for our guns? Should we be peaceful then? I want peace, however, the longer this continues, the lower the chance this all ends up being resolved peacefully. I believe it's just a matter of how much time passes until then. it's time to pray for the best, and prepare for the worst.

That is an interesting perspective I hadn't considered but it makes sense, and would also explain why there was overall growth (although small) in the stocks during Obama's term. This doesn't, however, make me feel any better about continuing to invest in the stock market. At some point doesn't the façade have to end? This can't continue indefinitely, so at what point do the repercussions take effect?
I think you may be right...I have a gut feeling there is a false sense of confidence in where the country is headed, and I certainly don't want to wait around for what's coming.

I was denied service at a restaurant in a small, conservative town a few weeks ago because I wouldn't wear a mask to a table that was a few feet away from me. Any sensible person should understand that 'rules' like this to 'prevent the spread' is a textbook example of a delusion.
I'm in California, and I've lost count of how many times businesses in our counties have been forced to close, reopened, closed, and then reopened again because of this ridiculous color coded tier system. Until more Americans just say, "no, that's it, we're done obeying," these tyrants in our government will kill the economy for as long as they want, for any reason they want.

Doomer or not, the last thing that any of us truly want is for the election problems that we're facing now to result in violence. If Bannon thinks that using the Insurrection Act is "crazy", then our Founding Fathers were crazy, too. We're all aware that it's our Constitutional right and duty as Americans to choose to overthrow a government that fails to faithfully represent us.
Yes, absolutely exhaust ALL peacefully legal options first and foremost, but from the rumblings I'm hearing of, it seems that the state legislatures and Congress are our Union's final firewall, and they obviously don't have the best track record in representing our interests. SCOTUS is playing politics and has made it clear they won't even hear our cases, and their recent decisions have rightly angered many of us here on this forum.
So...if the electors from the contested states aren't decertified one way or another, then the Insurrection Act must be an option on the table to enforce. I hope to God Almighty that day does not come. I've been with Trump since he started his rallies in summer of 2015 and I was thinking to myself, "this guy is saying what we Americans are thinking. He isn't like the other guys who have ran in the past." I trust and support him 100% of the way.
If Trump chooses to NOT legally use force, then I respect his decision to do so. However, from my perspective at this time, his decision to not use force will reverse much of the good he will have done for this country and forfeit it all to Biden.
Beyond that, what kind of fair and rightful change will there be for our future elections? 2022 vote? Executive? Judicial? Legislative?

This should be the top comment. I don’t think most Americans have any idea how dangerous and influential the media has become - or even care for that matter. They completely control what problems are addressed and which ones are ignored in the eyes of the public. So many of the problems our country is facing could have been avoided and even solved if our media was fair and honest. There must be severe punishment and accountability for there to be true change.
I don't know the intricacies of this process, but let's say SCOTUS takes the case in-between Jan 6th to 14th and rules in our favor in Michigan (and that's a BIG ASS 'if'). What happens then? Can the electoral votes be decertified in Michigan, or it is too late? Would this ruling only apply to Michigan, or potentially affect other contested states as well that are pending SCOTUS review?
I want to believe this as well, but how is there a path to victory through SCOTUS when they tossed out the Texas lawsuit?

I've been lurking r/GME and r/WallStreetBets for a while now and what baffles me is that they understand that the system is rigged against them, but they continue believing people like AOC and our cucked Congress truly cares and has their best interests at heart. Guess they missed the memo this last election and will figure it out the hard way.
