God created Adam in his image, but clearly not everyone remains in his image since the different races look so different. Image also says nothing about how we are on the inside. In that regard, humans are clearly nothing like God.

Note that this is a case from 1943, not a recent ruling.

Government involvement in marriage can be a good thing depending on the policies put in place. For instance, married couples usually pay less in taxes, which incentivizes people to get married. I see that as a generally positive thing.

The police chief threw Chauvin under the bus and claimed it wasn’t according to procedure. What a faggot.

One thing people don’t talk about when they mention China’s social credit system is that it was initially operated by private companies. The CCP encouraged companies such as hotels, airlines, and money lenders to track social credit scores and give benefits and punishments according to those scores. The only problem was different companies refused to share social credit scores with each other so the government had to nationalize the system.

As far as I can tell, Dr. Pepper is its own thing in the US, not owned by Pepsi.

I use 2ndvote to determine which companies I should boycott, and Dr. Pepper seems to be better than all of the other major soda brands including Pepsi and Coca Cola.

They also own the 7-up brand, which I didn't know before. 7-up is one of my favorite sodas.

They literally gave that line to him. The reporter asked him what he thought of QAnon. He asked her what QAnon is. She replied that QAnon followers believe Trump is secretly fighting a cabal of pedophiles.

Noem is the one who want to change the wording to include the words "birth certificate" and "affidavit". Those were not in the original bill.

There's nothing wrong with the bill. Noem wants to neuter it.

Yeah, it doesn't matter what she says in her official statements. She specifically said it was because of the NCAA when she was live-interviewed.

I don't think there's anything wrong with using the birth certificate, since South Dakota is still recording biological sex on birth certificates. However, the "affidavit" part seems more concerning.

That's still a huge decline. In the year 2000, 90% of respondents said they were religious. In 2010, that number was 84%. Now it is 76%. America is becoming less religious and at an increasing rate.

Almost all polls rely on self-identification. If you say you're a member of a church, they will record you as being a member of a church.
