Yesterday was definitely NOT how this thing ends, can’t be. I’ll be interested to hear what War Room has to say today.

It is definitely cryptic and his words seem to have been chosen very carefully.

Can you please explain to me why he was fighting being extradited if it is so bad for him? He literally just got what he was asking for and I’m very confused by the response this post has received. I’m genuinely asking here...

I absolutely agree with this. It’s really sad what has been done to him.

He literally just won HIS case. He was fighting to NOT be extradited.

Well... I guess all of you know better than Assange, his family, and his team of attorneys. He has been fighting like HELL to NOT be extradited. I’m generally confused at some of these responses here.

He would have been brought here and thrown in max security prison for the rest of his life. By not being extradited he will now be a free man to be with his family. Trump can pardon him either way, but this way he will still be free.

Thank you for that link, I had no idea how to archive. This was the first article I could find after the news broke.

He was only being held because of the US extradition request. That has now been denied so he is now effectively a free man.

More of an explanation of why this is a good thing (I did not write this): “Julian does not need to be delivered to the US for any reason whatsoever. The most favorable ruling would be to not extradite him, and dismiss the US request, which would effectively free him to both reunite with his family, and speak out openly as he so chooses to on any subject he might want to. Appealing the ruling would be if they try to extradite and further imprison him in solitary incommunicado detention in US supermax to await trial on the 175 year espionage charge they are leveling against him for the 2010 collateral murder leaks that showed the US engaging in horrific war crimes. But any such appeal after the original ruling would be nearly moot and most likely outight denied. I hope that clarifies it for you.”

The formal bail hearing will be on Wednesday, per his and his defense’s request. Don’t really understand that.

Then why has he been fighting like hell NOT to be extradited? They are discussing bail now.

I read it as- if the R senators do not object to the electors on the 6th that he will give the people stimulus.

Unfortunately I don’t, I contacted through the site. Hopefully I don’t end up on the gulag list. Hahaha

We will absolutely be weaker for it. The kids don’t have decades of “normalcy” under their belts like we do, this BS is going to cause irreparable harm to them if nothing is done. I went to a 15 year old’s funeral this summer, he shot himself in the head in his backyard. It’s beyond tragic what is being done and I don’t think people are paying enough attention to it. This shit is going to have some MAJOR long term damage to our youth, our future. I’m sure that’s part of the grand scheme though. Makes me sick to think about.
