Very good questions. First, I must point out that my friend and I have rather high IQ's and are very good a logical reasoning. We both taught ourselves calculus, me before my sophomore year if high school, and my friend during it. The teacher was trying to leverage that.
The most common technique relies on what I call In-group Out-group dynamics. An In-group is a group of friends that know each other. One of the In-group member tends to be the In-group leader. A teacher creates an In-group by being a friend, but he will always be the leader. This is the core mechanism that is today used to brainwash students to be dependent on group think.
In our case he used it to initiate a discussion by asking simple questions. They often were very simple scenarios that had few dependencies. Like the dynamics of a tribe of people. Then he would introduce theorems that seemed applicable. He would build up a set of these theorems. Then as the discussions progressed, he would make the scenarios more complicated like the dynamics of a small village. He guided the discussions in such a way that it looked like we were comings up with the stuff. But it was just his subtle prompting. My friend and I played along with this. Within the world-view he instilled, everything seems reasonable.
But it was apparent to us that the base theorems were flawed. The other problem is that of what is mathematically called granularity. One can not extrapolate the dynamics of a tribe, to a village, and a village to a city. We played along anyways to see where he was going.
He never caught on. Both my friend and I are autistic and we were not identified as such at that time. The thing with us autistic people is that we not only don't parse body language in a normal fashion (we are missing some hardware and use software). We also don't send the proper body language signals. We do something called "masking". It's what we use to interact with people in order to appear normal. We can use that for other things. Some of the best actors are on the spectrum.
Btw, neither my friend nor I trusted teachers. I myself, had been lied to when I was in 5th grade and it hurt me greatly. And both of us were very aware of Marxist indoctrination in our schools. Having read a lot of Ayn Rand helped a lot in teaching us what to look for.

You have authority in the Name of Jesus as an adopted child of the Most High. Pray to GOD and tell him that you will stand up and join His Army. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what encumbrances you might be holding. He will help you to throw them away. By doing so, you can be an effective soldier.
Open up your Bible and read it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. There are messages in there that have been locked away for this time. Pray every day and listen to what the LORD is saying. Jesus is your friend. The better you know Him, the greater your faith will be. Talk to other Christians who know Jesus. Faith needs to be fed to grow. GOD will open doors for you, step through them. He will close doors also, don't waste your energy trying to open them.
We are soldiers and need to have the mind of a soldier. I collect images of photos from WWII. I have a lot from Pear Harbour. When I started, on looking at one picture, my mind said "What's that boy doing carrying that big gun?" That lasted about 0.2 seconds when I recognized that the "boy" was a sailor. He was so young. I dug up some of my photos from my time in the service. I looked like a kid myself.

The all are very popular to the point of having a cult following. They tell all the funny jokes and have the cool stories. They are the ones students echo when they get together outside of class. Their job is Marxist indoctrination.
