I had a big collection going back to 1975. Was destroyed by tweekers busting into my storage unit. I was close to homeless after getting layed off from Agilent. I had too much OS knowledge, I have deep knowledge about Unix/HPUC/Linux, was a vocally anti MS, and could articulate why MS was bad. I was also very active in fighting against the adoption of VISA. I, along with everyone who had extensive Unix knowledge were on the short list for being let go during the big blood letting.

All because Bill Gates wanted to take over test equipment, and Dave Packard his butt buddy went along. Now every piece of test equipment must have Windows as its OS.

Um, that is because HR is a Communist concept from the start. It was ment to destroy the concept Personnel. Everyone thinks that they are the same. American business is saturated with insidious Marxist thought.

I'm a systems engineer that has specialized in Test and Measurement. I used to work for HP/Agilent. Microwave Spectrum Analyzers. That was a dream job. I hate Microsoft they've destroyed everything.

Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. [2] And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Thanks so much. And GOD bless you.

The Lord through His Holy Spirt has been putting it my heart to remind Christians to return to Jesus. They have forgotten Love. Without Love we will not be effective in combating the evil that is now at work in the world. The time for playing games is over. Time is very short.

I have been disheartened by having my posts thumped down by those unwilling to let go of hatred. They say they love with their mouths but their heart speaks otherwise. Please remember to pray for them.

My house was walking distance from McCain HQ. I used to hang out at the same bar that he'd visit. Being a Republican voting Conservative, I thought that was cool the first time. Then I caught the wiff of evil about him. I started to be very anti McCain since 1987 or so. He was part of the Communists spearhead to take over the Republican party. That penetration still exists. We now call them RINO's but make no mistake. They are a Marxist vanguard.

Geez, have a heart. I felt old once already today. I just had to explain to someone that one used to be able to buy a plane ticket on a whim instead of having to book a month ahead just to be able to afford the price. I had forgotten that this was over 20 years ago :(

Training won't fix this. If a teacher needs to be told that they are supposed to keep politics out of the classroom, they have no business teaching. It's not their mouth that's the problem it's the evil in their heart. Apologies don't cut it. The are poison.

I had the amazing opportunity to vote for Regan in my very first election at the age of 19. I have been a hard core conservative since my first argument with my Democrat mother at the age of 11. I was born with a red-pill in my mouth!

Thank You Jesus

I'm big time into aquariums, added all together, I had about 1000 gals of aquariums. One Thursday in 1989 my roommate and I saw a show about a jellyfish exhibit at the Birch Aquarium. I said I'd love to see that. My roommate said "my dad lives in San Diego. let's visit him." So we called his dad, got some tickets, and where in San Diego Friday afternoon. Round-trip tickets were like $90 combined. That would probably be like $300 in today's $$. To get that today you would have had to book a month ahead.

One thing that sucks about getting old is that it's easy to forget that ones experiences are now ancient history.

Btw, I not totally blasting market segmentation. Properly applied in high tech markets, it drives innovation. Think modern gamer rigs. My latest business laptop has graphics that are awesome because of innovations funded by the sale of high end systems for the enthusiasts market.

The airlines give big discounts for booking weeks in advance. The idea being, if you really need to fly now, you will be willing to pay twice the price of what you would pay for a flight for a planed vacation. You should be able to find some info online regarding this. There was quite a bit written during the 00's. If I have time, I might try to dig something up.

Btw, that was a very good question. We based are definitely better at thinking!

Nonfeasance is also a crime, especially when it is used to cover for misfeasance.

I wonder if Trump knows about what I was referring to in my above comment?

The Airline business can't make money because of market segmentation. Market segmentation is used to prevent people from casual travel. For most people, the only way they can afford to fly is if they plan months ahead, e.g. for holidays. When the Communists with their College brainwashed industry analysts convinced the airlines in the late 90's that they could make a bundle with segmentation using a bunch of bogus math, they started losing money fast. Market segmentation has limited utility. But 911 happened and the wonks all blamed rider fear as the reason for the revenue lose. The math says otherwise, unless of course the fear was so great it traveled back in time.

Nota bene. Market segmentation can only happen if the entire business segment is on board. It would be highly illegal for businesses to coordinate with each other. Therefore they follow the advice of business analysts who are all controlled by Marxists.

Haven't you ever wondered why you can't find something in the store that you and many others would like to buy? In true capitalism, if there is a market, it will be filled with products.

This is one of the most valuable techniques in the indoctrinators arsenal. Its why are children can't think for themselves. It uses In Group Out Group dynamics, the teacher being the In Group Leader. This is how it works.

  1. Get the kids around a table. This is the In Group. Everyone wants to be accepted and liked by the members of the In Group.

  2. Pose a question for discussion.

  3. What for a child responds with a reasonable answer.

  4. Gently tell the child that the answer is not correct. This embarrasses the child and makes them feel that they wont be liked by the In Group.

  5. Guide the discussion to yield the politically correct response which is illogical, praising students who give stupid answers.

  6. Rinse and repeat.
