It would even be one thing if the right just swiftly and without many casualties dealt with the left and then fought the foreign invaders. We picked up guns. We killed people. We got killed ourselves. We took what we wanted, because that was the only way. It’s not like King George didn’t know we didn’t like paying taxes with no protection or representation in return. It’s not like we were going to send him a letter and he was like “Oh man. You guys don’t like paying me taxes for nothing. Oooooh. Fucking whoopsie daisy there, sweetheart. Let me just fix that on the books there for ya”. He knew perfectly well. He just didn’t fucking care. It suited him, so fuck us. That’s exactly what’s happening nowadays. You think the elite don’t know that we don’t want millions of illegals flooding through our borders, jacking up our crimes rates, taking our tax money through benefits, and driving the price of labor down? You think the elite don’t know we don’t like our cities being burned down and innocent people being killed in the streets? You think the elite don’t know we don’t like paying 30% in taxes while our purchasing power gets lower and lower? Of course they know about all of that. They just don’t give a fuck and know 99.9% of us aren’t going to do anything about it, which makes them effectively unopposed in this context.

I agree with most of that, I’m still not understanding though how voting a bunch of puppets who are all mostly interchangeable, in and out of office, when the real power brokers, with their collective trillions of dollars, remain behind the scenes, pulling the strings, completely out of the reach of the law or anyone really, is going to fix anything. Most things that need changing in this country need congressional approval. Actual legislation. And the things that need changing, Congress has a vested interest in not changing. Everyone I talk to basically says the same thing you did. Don’t get discouraged. Keep fighting the good fight. It’s just going to take a bit. Nobody seems to be able to explain to me how to get a majority of 535 members to vote against their own best interests. To convince people who make millions of dollars doing what families who has been running the world for 400 years tell them to do, who have literally no reason to do so. I get most things at a federal level are unimportant to the man on the street. Or at least it used to be. It seems like it’s getting less and less so like that every day. Let’s just say you’re right and it took the left decades to get to this point. I really don’t think we have decades to catch up with them at this point. I think the time we have left can be measured by months, not years. Hopefully I’m wrong, this will all blow over, and everything will be hunky dory. They won’t try to force a vaccine with a microchip on us. They won’t crash our economy to restart it under a global currency to cover up the fact we are being sold to the UN because we owe 30 trillion dollars at this point and our money is teetering on being worthless. They won’t ramp up the riots to 11 right before the election and start coming into the suburbs and residential areas. They won’t start a civil war to make us vulnerable to foreign invasion.
