You're getting shit on here but you're 100% right. Hearing him say he supports BLM during his interview with Tucker even after all the shit he went through was outright embarassing and now this. I think the main reason people are still defending him now is sunk cost fallacy.

In a sense, but at least Beanie Babies were an actual physical item that couldn't just be copied/deleted whenever like an NFT

Where it's possible of course, but keep in mind there are a lot of smaller towns out there where the only way to get certain items locally is from a big chain store as there is no local small business option.

My mom was a nurse for over 25 years, and a damn good one. Sometimes I wonder how she would react to the whole COVID scam were she alive today - she used to tell me about how she didn't trust the cancer treatment industry and believed there was a cure out there somewhere kept secret because chemo/radiation just makes too much money.

I'm still not convinced crypto isn't going to blow up in everyone's faces one day and it's one global internet/power outage away from being absolutely worthless. I'd consider a wiser investment to be something more tangible like land, livestock, food, water, fuel, vehicles, guns, ammo, tools, etc. These are the things that build nations.
