I've only scratched the surface on politics, so what insane, power-hungry career politicians did to our country has gone over my head. I can easily say that the media has gone insane, but that's another topic. lol
I mostly exist in a "sit back, watch, and learn" mode when it comes ro politics. Voted obama twice, but voted Trump in 2016. He was just the anti-establishment candidate and that's why I voted for him. What I've experienced because of that/been called is why I know I've made the right decision. I do like what Trump has accomplished despite all the attacks, though.
Now I know what you mean on being far right! Those positions remind me of what Libertarianism is (I think.) Is libertarianism similar to what you believe? (Also you're right that your positions have absolutely nothing to do with race. lol)
I agree that race is used to divide us (and to great effect, unfortunately). I'm mixed race, and I only judge people based on their actions. Mom is guatemalan. Dad is from nebraska.
Someone once told me that you shouldn't play the left's race game, and maybe I should heed that. SO tempting to point out the glaring, racist flaws in critical race theory, and all of its predecessors over the past few years, though.
And this was a fun conversation! Thank you as well. :]
This helps put it in perspective... thank you!
Thinking about it, my logic was based soley on the subject of how extreme left/extreme right approach race. Both have the same supremacy issue, but one is guilty about it?
There are so many sides to these things, that all I can do is be open to criticism as I explain my perspective. (Tim Pool watcher here.)
Their goals will always be different, yeah. And if I'm boiling both down to how they view themselves in comparison to others, (and making that the basis for their similarity,) then perhaps that isn't a fair argument on my part?
But I also feel "far right" has been so bastardized by the media, things are classified as "far right" that really shouldn't be.
I feel "far left" is pretty obvious to discern from regular "leftist"/"liberal", though. (Far left = critical race(ist) theory)
But heck if I can parse through any of that on my own...
Because to AP, being left is societies default.
No.
With racist far left dogma that focuses soley on skin color. Splitting people up into "poor minorities" and "rich white people". Society isn't the demeaning & racist left.
My family is filled with all colors of people. We judge others on their actions. Not on the "original sin" of their skin color.
Woah, she got Veritas to help out? Nice! I really hope it gets the support it needs then!
My folks are old (with health conditions) and need mail in voting, but I have no idea what AZ's mail in voting system is like.
I do remember at the dem debates she supported things that would deplete(?) our tax dollars, much like everyone else at those debates. But I don't think she'd really risk her standing with other dems by at least providing some (albeit small) challenges to vote-by-mail.
And maybe this bill can open the door to more legislation later, especially if representatives are receptive to it. Could be the beginning of something bigger?
But maybe I don't understand the intricacies of supporting barely-effective legislation... For now I won't retract my request from my representative.
This makes me really happy. Was never that big on candy corn, but I want to try eating them with peanuts like ArmedHousewife said.
