It was a big boating accident but I could probably retrieve them if I wanted to, but it would be very difficult

eBay sellers with possible ties to China are slipping “free” air fresheners into packages. Watch this get ugly when they go live with the real payload.

The order was fulfilled by Amazon, not the seller so that theory is out. The eBay seller sent my legit order for tape over to Amazon for fulfillment, and manually added in one unit of their Glade.

Why would anyone do a brushing scam for a generic product like Glade on a scent that already has 5000+ reviews. Sorry, but this is NOT a brushing scam. This is either a weird mistake or they are testing.

You're right, it could be. But, why would this seller do a brushing scam to promote Glade products? Brushing makes more sense for a private label product to get reviews for YOUR OWN product. So why would a Chinese seller spend resources trying to get fake reviews for a generic product like a Glade air freshener that many sellers sell. I have 7 years of professional Amazon/Ebay selling experience and don't see why anyone would do this for a generic product that other sellers would benefit from the reviews. If brushing is the theory, then Glade is behind this - boy that would be interesting.

There was deliberate trickery. The seller designated the tape that I purchased as a “gift” And the tape came wrapped in a gift bag yetthe Glade air freshener was simply added to the box. They were trying to trick me into thinking it was a gift. I think this could be people testing the system

https://streamable.com/nj161h I got this random air freshener added to my order from an eBay seller that uses Amazon fulfillment to fulfill their orders. Anybody else hear of this?

I got a random Glade air freshener from Amazon that I did not order. This is a possible threat to America because Amazon does not inspect the inventory it ships - as an Amazon seller I know this - and I immediately realized this could be a way to distribute contaminates to large number of people, quickly! Could this be the Chicoms testing Amazon’s weaknesses in their infrastructure to use for a large attack? I made a video with the evidence https://streamable.com/nj161h
