You can, but it takes a $50k machine and the powder is super expensive too. Nobody is doing guns on them.

So yeah what Mao said.

They make GPS jammers that plug into the cigarette lighter. Totally illegal, but cheap and unlikely to get caught.

It's been proposed at least twice in the past 6? years, never passed yet.

If this were a real democracy we'd have a "fire everyone" option. If 50% of people check the box, the entire gov gets replaced.

Instead we have the lesser of two evils, and they're usually friends who've made deals in advance to get there.

Yeah. I learned about the holocaust, I learned about slavery, I learned about the inca empire, but I never learned my own history until AP Euro.

That's key. Making sure your kids get every advantage you can give them, regardless of your personal upbringing

Ooooh, we're gonna have to set up a department to look at that. I'll need $20M for a new building, and then salaries for 100 new government employees. And they're not gonna solve the issue or their jobs will disappear, so make those expenses annual.

Nobody is gonna apply for $10/hr

2
DiscoverAFire 2 points ago +2 / -0

Happens all the time, only not quite as extreme.

18: "I'm supposed to be making $22/hr, so like... $20 after taxes right?"

Manager: "We'll there's federal tax, state tax, unemployment tax, social security tax... expect $15"

18: "This is bullshit"

M: "Yup"

My dad had me help him out with the math so he could decide between 401k vs ira when I was 15. Looking back, obviously he could have done the math himself. But I learned to exploit matches and loopholes, and now my friends treat me like a financial advisor.

The other one he threw in a pond? The one the russians stole? So many options!

So he threw a few of them in a pond, and had to take them to the repair shop, where he quickly forgot about them because he's a crackhead.

Then, he smoked crack with some russian spies who stole another of his laptops. Not sure if the chinese hooker did too, or if she was just filming blackmail.

Doesn't even matter what happens. All they want are the literal thousands of headlines that will include the phrase "fake hunter biden laptop".

That way all the NPCs can reassure themselves that the biden laptop is fake and they don't have to think about it or do any research.

You don't have to give up your backdoor blowouts, just save them for that one special someone.

I agree. But they've relentlessly centralized and increased power, which means that if there were to be a happening, it's less likely to be a civil-war style conflict and more likely to be a french revolution style conflict.

Before the war: Independent, mostly russian-supported separatists.

During the war: Goes back and forth.

+1. Civil war was closer to a traditional war between two countries than a rebellion/uprising.

I concur. You'll be paying more, but not at risk of starving. Other countries that don't produce enough, who we send food to currently, might not be so lucky.

That's tragic. I'd be burning down hospitals if I was one of those fathers.

Clearly both, if he was competent he would have hidden it or fabricated a pretext better than "I was consulting for $1,000,000/hr about business things, because I am a business expert who just happens to be broke despite making $1,000,00/hr".
