This is one of my favorite liberal tropes. When you bring up Voter ID they start talking about black people like they are complete imbeciles.

"Voter ID disenfranchises black people!"

"Um...why exactly?"

"You know, uh, they just can't figure out that process and, uh, they don't know how to fill out basic forms"

"Well, I happen to think that black people are every bit as capable as white people of filling out a voter ID application"

"YOU'RE RACIST"
