I started High School in 2000 and we played dodge ball the entire time I was in Jr. High, which would have been the late 90s. The teachers also allowed us to play "asses up" or as we called it "suicide" in the school yard even though I live in one of the most cucked cities in the world. I think what we're seeing is a lot more recent than the 90s or even the early 2000s.
