Just curious, but how admired is Winston Churchill in England by today's people? Of adults, what percent do you say admire him?

He's saying go to a Christian Church, with an open mind, and then become a better person.

One can argue that being a better person is "based on perception", but that claim mostly falls apart when one follows in Christ's footsteps. Most "perceptions" will observe you becoming a better person if you do so.
