• Convention of States - States and unite and amend the constitution, requiring a balanced budget, requiring all bills to be read aloud 3 times in each chamber, and there are several other options others have brought forward aimed at this exact issue. States can fix this if they had the will (they don't)
• Depression - Our economy and nation take a downhill turn, to a significant degree. China swoops in and takes over as the dominant nation in the world. We become a slave nation to them
