I do not follow your logic. She is facing life in prison and there is a mountain of evidence and witnesses to put her away for good. Why would attacking the President make her situation any better? How would that get her out of life in prison given the mountain of evidence and witnesses? If she goes to prison, the deep state will (eventually) take her out Jeffery style. She knows this and is fighting for her life. She has to bargain her only chip and that is to give what she has over to the feds and act as a witness to bring down the whole lot.
