We did 2 week lockdown with kids and spent 3 months there this year. Daegu and Chinhae (near Busan). Kids speak Korean so put them (age 6 and 8) into 100% korean school. Also took kids to Toys R Us in Daegu, as the chain is still alive in Korea lol. Bought them some toys for doing 2 week lockdown and 2 covid nose tests (hurts lol). Based Japarino's. I have had the honor to spend a few months time in that wonderful country. It's like a second home. I maybe met 1 rude Japanese person. 3 times I asked for directions to my hotel "Hotel x doko desu ka?" and instead of pointing the direction, they dropped what they were doing and walked me a block down the street pointed and bowed. All food is at least 4/5 as serving bad food would be dishonorable. Staff lady at Conrad hotel in Tokyo made the towels in the shape of animals, as we told her we were going to the zoo with our kids. Was supposed to go in 2020 but covid stopped that. Maybe go 2021 or next year. Wife is Korean so when we go back to visit her folks we do a layover for a few days or so.
