The Trump campaign called a "lid" for the day, meaning no new updates. This is the only time they've used this word. The Bidens used this word many times, and I've never heard it used before during a campaign.

Trump called the "lid" a couple hours before Joe's big planned speech, where many thought he would declare victory. They had all the cars leave the parking lot, then had them come back in.
