DHS managed the printing of ballots. The Dems never received the information they sued for and have been completely cut out of the process.

I asked other people what they thought about this, and the general consensus of the left (and I assume the media, who dominate the tone and content of public discourse, because they say the same shit as the left) was that this is perfectly acceptable to say and doesn't imply a threat, because if the unjust forces act appropriately, "any means" will be civil.

I used to work for a large defense firm and following the 2000 election, we were given a contract to investigate the viability of secure voting.
The project never went forward.
Preliminary research returned the disappointing fact that there is no return on investment. With a divided country, there was no meaningful difference between blatant fraud and perfect election integrity. Yes, different people are upset, but no more people and no more deeply than a perfect election.
Cheating is not only not a silver bullet, but at this level, it will not be considered.
This is 100% about optics and we have none. If we cannot control this narrative, we lose. That is the singular problem we must fix.

There is a part where he talks about how the US announces our military actions to the world, in advance, and how dumb this is.
Trump is a genius for many reasons, but my favorite is the way he brags about being a genius, but then let's people think they've pulled one over on him. Because they believe he is so stupid and arrogant, he'd never possibly allow himself to look dumb, and they actually believe they're getting away with something.
