Look, simple easy answer. If polls are correct at best 50% want their kids in NJ back in school. So open schools, those who want to send their kids back can, those who don't, then don't. On the flip side teachers who want to return to the classrooms should, those who don't want to, well there are you online teachers. You get your social distancing bullshit, since the schools will be at half capacity. And if the teachers or kids want to wear masks and gloves so be it. Nothing forced, everyone gets what they want for themselves.

My wife teaches and my son is on the spectrum. He needs socializing, online learning is doing fuck all for him. Watched him regress despite our best efforts. My wife just wants back to work. Shit needs to stop.

Saw 12 planes or so, 3 groups in formation, fly over Earle Naval Base in Monmouth County NJ today. It was an amazing sight, got chills watching them fly over, hearing them burn through the sky.

That is American ingenuity, spirit, and passion carved into military might. I watched part of what keeps this country safe and free today fly over, it was beautiful.

NJ, probably not, this state worships Murphy like he is a golden deity that saved us from the evil Covid. Monmouth/Ocean county is Trump country. Have seen consistent local Trump rallies in mostly Shoprite parking lots. Most voters are unaffiliated but thata so we don't get bothered for donations. So I see him easily taking both those counties.
