Honestly you people laugh at toilet paper hoarders, but you really dont have enough toilet paper yourselves. The average person uses 1 roll per day. If you have a family of 4, that's 28 rolls a week. Over 100 a month. TP rolls will be worth their weight in gold in a few months, because everyone needs it.

The only civics lesson I've seen so far is that it all apparently runs on Calvinball rules

Yeah, the problem is the deep state feels like they're riding in Goliath from Knight Rider. They have no reason whatsoever to stop.

This is the biggest game of chicken ever played in history.

It's going to be ugly.

I find it so funny that twitter is what everyone decided to latch onto to make business decisions and form public opinion.

The cabal prefers public opinion that is curated by the cabal

The fake part is where secret agent men plotting for 5 years magically save us from endemic corruption

People were taught the Constitution is magic and keeps the country going no matter what

Letting go of that delusion is very hard for some people.

Obama not being born in the US.

He grew up in Indonesia. Why would I want someone who grew up in the East to run my country?

It perfectly explains it. He can't fire them on whim anymore. He needs 'cause'. And they are protected by federal employee unions.

They took the power from the Presidency over most of the Executive.

Sorry, we won't determine whether any actions or laws were constitutional because you filed too late

Because you filed late, it's constitutional

The spoils system flourished unchallenged in the United States from the 1820s until after the Civil War, at which time the system’s abuses prompted civil-service reforms designed to cut down the number of government posts filled by appointment and to award jobs on the basis of merit. The Pendleton Federal Civil Service Act of 1883 provided the initial basis for the adoption of the merit system in the recruitment of federal officials, and by the late 20th century merit systems had almost completely replaced the spoils system at the federal, state, and city levels of government.

Aside from 'merit' obviously being bullshit, it corrupted into the bureaucracy controlling itself, this is what happened.

I said most career bureaucrats, which doesn't include top political appointments.

Reading comprehension.

Civil Service law protects the career officials from getting fired.

This isn't 1850, the President can't fire everyone anymore. The spoils system is long gone.

You need to understand Civil Service law, which was passed explicitly to make most career bureaucrats unfireable by the President or anyone else, without a ridiculously long process that they have a ton of ways to get around.

The days of the spoils system, where the President could fire the entire Executive branch, are long gone. The bureaucracy took actual power long ago.

The FBI and DOJ are part of the executive branch. He is over them.

You don't know what you are talking about. Civil Service law passed almost half a century ago made most career bureaucrats unfireable except through a long, convoluted process where they have a million remedies against it.

The Presidency was gutted long ago to put the true power in the hands of the bureaucracy.

You're absolutely factually right. Downvoters don't want to confront those facts because it's obviously true.

Masks should be argued against because it's being pushed as a symbol of obedience and compliance with the excuse of an overblown 'pandemic' that barely exists.

Not a single judge got in that wasn't Establishment GOP approved. The Senate had to vote for all of them.
