If nothing else comes from this mess it's driving more and more people to alternative platforms and news providers. The stranglehold the likes of Fox, CNN etc hopefully being broken.

This is my expectation, hopefully he'll just give the uninformed some good knowledge and ammunition so they can redpill others.

That's sort of how it works in the UK.

Process from start to finish:

  1. You enter yourself on the 'electoral roll', a list of everyone who is eligible to vote. A lot of people choose not to do this if they avoiding debt collectors, because the electoral roll can be accessed by third parties. Being on the electoral roll btw helps you get credit because you are seen as a more reliable person if you vote.

  2. You get a letter confirming and badgering you to update your information if the makeup of your household has changed, i.e. are any new people living in your property, are there any children who have just become old enough to vote etc.

  3. You will be delivered by mail a 'polling card' informing you what polling station you are registered to vote with and what 'table' you've to present yourself to, usually split by area or name, it's to stop people all piling up at one table and distribute you for efficiency. You do NOT need your polling card to vote, but many people take it anyway.

  4. Election day. You turn up at your local polling station, 9 times out 10 it's a school gym hall. You do NOT need to supply ID to vote but when you enter, you present yourself to your designated table, the polling staff ask you for your name and your postcode (equivalent of zip code), they cross your name off a list and hand you the voting slip.

  5. You retire to the voting booth, you mark clearly with an X who you wish to vote for, you fold the voting slip (that has a barcode on the back) so the polling staff can't see your vote, you show it to them so they can confirm it's the slip they gave you, just a cursory look thing to make sure there is only one slip, and you then post it through the ballot box on their table, which is securely sealed with zip ties and a security token.

  6. Once polling closes all the ballot boxes are loaded onto an official van, there's a clear chain of custody and they are driven to the counting location (usually an even bigger hall like a convention centre).

  7. In the counting hall the votes are all counted by hand. Usually a several stage process, dumped onto a table, sorted into piles, counted, recorded, counted again by another counter and recorded again, if the count matches they are bundled and set aside. There are campaign staff, candidates and press, local or national (depending on how important that location is) milling around in full view of the count. Everything is transparent.

  8. When counting finishes the results are announced by the polling official, this is usually televised on the night most places. They will tell you each candidate and their votes and also how many ballots were blank or spoiled. Recounts do happen but because of how secure the process is, it's usually within the 10's of votes that it becomes an issue. Also, if two candidates receive exactly the same count after numerous recounts it eventually goes to a coin toss.

And that's it. Beginning to end, safe and secure. I know there would be concerns about voter ID being required, however the logistics of people having to bus fake voters to several locations with known names and postcodes and it 1. not be spotted because someone would try to vote to be told they already have and 2. be enough to actually swing a result, makes it an unlikely form of voting fraud.

Let them keep spewing out propaganda, the people will see the truth of it, they always do.

Antifa scum taking the bait is mana from heaven for Trump. Suppressed by the media/big tech or not, ordinary Americans will see these scenes, and in the coming battle it'll be up to them to decided, are we on the side attacking women and old granpas? Or are we on the side of decent ordinary Americans who love their country?

I know what my bet is on.

Tell me, we spend a lot of time on this forum lamenting the media/big tech and how they lie and censor for the Democrats.

They non-stop attack Trump with smears and lies. They refused to cover Hunter Biden's laptop and actively censored it. They refused to cover sleepy Joe's clear cognitive decline and onset of dementia. They refused to scrutinise sleepy Joe or his presidential manifesto.

Yet who won the election? Donald Trump won the election. Despite the media and big tech Donald Trump increased his votes by 10 million Americans. Donald Trump won by a fucking landslide.

The only reason we are where we are is because the Dems had to cheat on a level never before seen in the history of America.

REAL Americans aren't stupid, the media and big tech think they are. If REAL Americans were stupid Trump's vote would have collapsed and the Dems wouldn't have needed to cheat at all. Real people see through the bullshit and the censorship, the evidence for that is right in front of you. They'll see what happened last night and they'll see right through the media's spin.

What's the stadium with the airplane in the background that appears randomly from time to time?

Damn that young black dude can work a crowd, get him up later to speak.

Is there some political or PR related reason Trump isn't (or isn't scheduled) to speak today? Can't help but feel it's an opportunity missed as lets face it, 99% of the people there aren't there to see any of the speakers, 10 mins of Trump would send the energy levels through the roof.

I think we need to cool it with this kind of stuff to be honest. We're not the left, you don't need to be 100% with us and agree with 100% of everything we think to be on our side. There's gonna be people who are maybe 51% or 60% or 70%.

I'd much rather have people like Tim Pool on our side 60% then be 100% against us, which is all stuff like this is gonna do.

I had a browse of r/politics the other day in the first time in a long time (actually had forgotten it existed) and there wasn't as much triumphalism as you might might imagine. A lot of the usual kinds of orange man bad posts you'd expect to see but it doesn't look like they're celebrating.

Was also quite a lot of posts attacking the GOP for supporting Trump. I think they are really surprised most rank and file GOP are like...eehh no you're not getting away with fraud this fucking massive.

Yeah I'm getting bad vibes off the Georgia recount tbh. The way they seemed to fall over themselves to volunteer to do it and get it sorted all seems a bit forced.

Surely the Trump campaign must have people crawling all over the audit? I mean they can't just audit without watchers present surely?

I'm highly sceptical, but then I see just how unflapped the President, his staff and the GOP are about all this.

As soon as the networks started declaring for Biden I expected a raft of 'Ted Cruz urges Trump to concede', 'Lindsay Graham has abandoned Trump in congratulations message to Biden', 'Turmoil behind the scenes as Trump staff resign en masse', 'GOP Tell Trump: Concede now or we'll make you' etc.

But instead all the ducks are in a row and everyone is high energy. They don't look worried.

That's just standard though isn't it? Because he's gonna get sued into oblivion either way.

It's....it's a joke 🙄

DrStaunch 5 points ago +5 / -0

I think it really speaks to how desperate they are that they need to go to these lengths. The last desperate roll of the dice from a decrepit political system trying to save itself. This will be an extinction event if it goes down the way I hope.

DrStaunch 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yes, that's a great way to put it. As much as I value the institution of democracy, when democracy has been compromised as badly as it has been, you simply can't continue with the charade. It's like playing a board game with someone who is clearly and obviously cheating, sitting and taking it just isn't an option, turning over the table and kicking them out is.

This could be the state that blows it wide open. It's not enough for Trump just to overturn the slim lead he has to smash it in my honest opinion, have to see loads of bad votes for Biden getting tossed, dead people, out of state, no ID, double votes, 'glitches' etc.

If the final tally shows a massive disparity in votes and Trump a big winner, it's fucking on like donkey kong, because the media wont be able to play their games anymore, proof of fraud will be undeniably real and all attention will turn on the super suspicious results in Penn, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin.

They better have watchers all over this recount.

That is very possible too, or a bank of names in that range they were free to use for fraud
