I recommend buying from thrift stores or liquidation stores when it comes to movies. This helps fund smaller, local people. Most thrift shops give to charity too.

Buy from local butchers that do their own processing. They buy from local farmers. Small businesses and farmers tend to be based.
Buy from small thrift shops, many of which give to charity as well. It’s a good place to buy used movies and electronics, so it doesn’t end up benefiting Chinese interests.
