Buy from a local butcher that does processing themselves. The main people who benefit from this transaction are the butcher and the farmer, both who tend to be local, regular people.
Buy used electronics when there is no non-Chinese option.
Use Craigslist.
Check if your area has a “salvage” grocery. Not only will this save you money on groceries, but it doesn’t make giant food companies as much money when you buy from them. Also “salvage” grocery stores are basically always locally run.
DDG donates to leftist companies, try Swisscows instead. Swisscows has their own messaging app as well. Company has never made a political statement.
If you’re going to watch YouTube, have Adblock on.
If you like kombucha, start a kombucha habit and support a local kombucha company. Small health food stores like to stock kombucha from nearby producers, so if you buy a case from the small health food store, you benefit both them and the kombucha company. Both who are most likely regular people.
Populism is rising. I think both sides of the aisle are starting to recognize the real enemy here.
