Criminals are generally STUPID.

If I was law enforcement, I would let them go free, watch them carefully, and wiretap their communications. I think they've already raised enough suspicion to get a warrant from a judge.

Most criminals won't be able to keep quiet about a heist they've pulled off, especially one done in coordination with others and of this magnitude.

After a period of surveillance, they get called in for an interview.

You ask questions that you already know the answer to.

When they inevitably lie, they get busted for perjury or another process crime.

To get out of the process crimes, the weakest one amongst them will rat out the others. Perhaps you offer them a plea deal - a slap on the wrist.

This takes time. We might need to be patient.

All of this, of course, is dependent on honest and diligent law enforcement.

I laughed my ass off when they claimed people would show up brandishing weapons in a non open-carry State because...GASP...these people might have concealed carry weapon permits.

No one with a concealed carry permit (in a State where open-carry isn't allowed) is going to jeopardize the CCW permit and jailtime by brandishing a weapon illegally.
