Jesus absolutely IS God. Both the Old Testament and the New Testament loudly proclaim the deity of Jesus Christ. “He never claims to be God” either tells me you have a Bible which intentionally edits out almost every mention of Jesus’ divinity, or you just flat out ignore what He said.
Jeremiah 23:5-6- “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” (This is my favorite, because it’s even in the New World Translation that Jehovah’s Witinesses put out, and they edit out almost every other mention of the Messiah’s divine nature. Oops, missed one!)

Nowhere in the Bible does it say we are commanded to love people who are making an effort. Jesus himself said the opposite. “But I say to you, love your enemies. Bless them that curse you. Do good to them that hate you….” Jesus as God in the flesh was and is the ultimate Judge. He cleansed His own temple twice at the beginning and end of His ministry. That wasn’t a command to go and do likewise. You also get the wheat and the chaff wrong. It’s not our job to determine who is who. We love everyone and give the Gospel to everyone and God will judge.
Actually there was only one instance where Jesus asked if they had a sword and told them to carry it. It was the night He was betrayed, and Peter took a swing at Malchus aiming to lop the dude’s head off. Peter was willing to die for Christ, who he thought was an earthly king. When Malchus ducked and Peter only got his ear, Jesus healed it. I believe this was what set Peter’s disillusionment and denial in motion.
Jesus and Christianity has always taught non-violence and submission to earthly authority, either submission to the law in cases where it does not violate God’s law, or submission to the consequence in cases where you must disobey ungodly laws. This can be seen in many of the epistles. We were never commanded to just sit down and take it silently though. Paul used every legal trick in the book and peacefully but passionately defended his case.

Gematria is a form of divination (at best) which is strictly forbidden in Scripture. At worst, it’s contorting words and numbers to make it say whatever you want. I flatly reject gematria as a legitimate form of study.
I am very well versed in eschatology, and the more I study it, as well as studying the OT prophecies of Christs’s first coming, I realize none of us have a leg to stand on to definitely declare “THIS is how the end times are gonna happen.” Even though they had all the prophecies in the Old Testament, no one was able to fully see what God’s plan was until it was finished. I believe the same applies to the second coming.
