I mean that might be exactly what it is. The Democrat base doesn't want the identity politics the DNC is pushing so they voted against it.
It's all about what questions are asked. They didn't ask what policy the party should push or they would get an answer they don't like. They just asked which one of these progressives they like and got told "none of them." It's the same sentiment that pushes them to cross the aisle, just to a lesser extent
CA unemployment calculator says the the normal compensation from the state is $260 per week if you were working full time at minimum wage ($13) so you add 400 to that and end up with $660 per week. That's $16.50/hr and still 27% more than you would make working.
You find the area of the rectangle, then subtract the missing area from the four corners.
Rectangle =20x30=600
Top right missing portion is a quarter of a circle with radius 10 =(1/4)×π×10^2=78.5
Bottom left is the same as top right but with radius 5 =(1/4)×π×5^2=19.6
Top left (R4?) is 1/4 of the area of a 8x8 square minus an R4 circle =(1/4)×(8×8-π×4^2)=3.43
Bottom right is the same but with R5? =(1/4)×(10x10-π×5^2)=5.37
Total = 600-78.5-19.6-3.43-5.37 =493.1
Theres a not insignificant amount of additional effort to leave the app and go to a different site and create an account. I'd be willing to bet a significant amount that we lost people in the move. We definitely lost the ability to speak to a wider audience and red pill people.
Yeah, because that's what I want in a gun. An unreliable buggy software mess.
"Can you hold on a sec? I've got to reboot my gun. Shit..this new patch sucks and I've got to re-register my bracelet. Now what was that button press sequence again?"
I agree that the first 5 shots were significantly louder relative to the following 3, but that doesn't mean they were an AK vs pistol. That could be due to a variety of reasons.
- Larger vs smaller pistol (45 vs 9mm?).
- Distance from phone (first shooter closer)
- Direction of the shot. It's a hell of a lot louder down field. I found that out looking for decibel numbers doing suppressor research. position relative to shooter matters a lot. One other tip I can share from deer hunting is to be careful shooting past a tree in front of your muzzle. The reflected sound made it a hell of a lot louder.
Yep, should be super easy to prove. Shell casings, gunshot residue, bullet holes in his car, etc. etc.
Found this link backing up the police statement above.

Yeah, I looked too. none of them were mentioning that there were clearly two different shooters. First five shots from one gun then 3 from a different.
I did find this one though where the police say Garrett confronted the driver, was shot at 5 times (hit 3 according to another quote from his mom), and then another person in the crowd shot at the fleeing car.
(Edit: forgot to link it) www.kvue.com/amp/article/news/local/downtown-austin-shooting-congress-sixth-street/269-9cd396c1-169c-45be-9529-c1e4662f838e
It shouldn't be hard at all to look at shell casings and see who shot from where to confirm one way or another. In any case I'd hold judgement on Garrett shooting first.
That being said, if you approach a car and point your gun at the driver, that's justification to get shot. It all comes down to the argument for whether the driver was trying to hit the protestors, in which case it'd be justified to defend yourself from the car. It's all a big mess.
They get a bot net to all request information from the site at the same time to overwhelm it. There's too much junk coming in that the website server can't keep up processing it and legit people's requests get crowded out. They're often filled with routers and cheap "internet of things" stuff that have poor security and are easy to hack and gain control of. They're not very powerful on their own but they're able to manage simple online interactions and there are millions of them.
Exactly. By extension, protection of nursing home workers should be prioritized almost as much as the seniors, but they were forced to have extra high risk interactions with positive patients.
