Correct! "All men are created equal" was a reference to CLASS, not race. It was white Americans talking to a white English king, telling him that they don't recognize his authority any longer.
How this phrase got twisted and subverted into being about race is one of the big mysteries of the modern era.
None of the founding fathers (and in fact no educated or sane person) ever posited that Stone Age illiterate African tribes were "equal" to Europeans or East Asians. There were civilizations, and there were savages. We were NOT all "equal and identical" and no one believed that. No one believes it now. Grab the average Japanese off the street and ask him if a man from Gambia (a nation with a literal 66 IQ) is the "intellectual equal" to a German. Guess what the Japanese man will answer.

This is why for 92% of our country's history we made sure to allow immigration ONLY from assimilatable populations with the same culture, heritage and gene pool. There was a logic to it.
Then in 1965, we recklessly allowed an alien group to change our immigration policies. It was in their interests to terraform our country to make it more suitable for THEIR needs, and their ability to hide in a more cosmopolitan (Byzantine) ethnic chaos.

Zoologist Desmond Morris wrote a book about this, called "The Human Zoo". When immersed in "diversity," people experience as much stress as tribesmen plunked down in another (rival) tribe. In the Stone Age, this would routinely lead to you getting killed. These stress hormones, says Morris, lead to sickness, cancer and early death. Malcolm Gladwell wrote about this in his book "The Outliers". It's called "The Roseto Effect". In mono-racial, homogeneous societies there was no heart-disease, crime or welfare. The inhabitants of the town [Roseto] were medical outliers because of their cohesive community. This lasted for decades . . . until diversity was introduced. The average number of deaths in the U.S. is about 2.8 - 3 million per year. In 2020, an estimated 3.1 million died. This slight uptick was NOT due to Covid, though, but due to deaths of despair related to alcoholism, drugs and suicide [related to joblessness]. Princeton's Anne Case did a study on the rising suicide rate, which she related to unemployment. Something exacerbated by the government's lockdown and forced destruction of 40% of small businesses in America.
Covid didn't kill these people. Government policy did.

The "natural born citizen" rider was placed in the Constitution to prohibit anyone acceding to the Presidency with dual citizenship (which was illegal in America until 1967). The Founders wanted Presidents with only ONE citizenship. Which is why they didn't say a "citizen" could become President; they said only a "Natural-BORN citizen" could. This is a higher threshold. People who tell you that a "citizen" and a "natural-born citizen" are the same thing are the same type of con-men who tell you that an "immigrant" and an "illegal immigrant" are the same thing. They're not. Different words because they have different meanings.
According to Emmerich de Vattel, in "The Laws of Nations" (which the founding fathers read at the Continental Congress) a "natural-born citizen is someone born on the soil, both of whose parents are citizens".
This was a fail-safe mechanism to ensure that all U.S. Presidents had only ONE citizenship . . . and not several due to the allegiances of foreign parents.
By that metric, Steven Crowder is ineligible to be President. His mother is Canadian. And he's a dual citizen . . . the very thing the natural-born citizen rider was placed in the Constitution to prevent.

College DOES make people dumber. Read "Microtrends, Squared" by Mark Penn. Penn is a liberal pollster, who in fact ran Hillary Clinton's campaign back in 2008. Penn has a chapter in his book entitled "The Impressionable Elites," wherein he talks about how gullible and credulous the college-educated are. They are trained to trust authority, NOT to think critically. So they end up suppressing their own opinions if the New York Times or Southern Poverty Law Center hands down a pronunciamento. According to Penn, this demographic is far less skeptical than working class people who went to trade school. Penn, to his credit as a Democrat, used the Russian Collusion hoax as an example of college-educated liberals believing things without evidence . . . if the TV feeds them the narrative.
Another man of the left [Noam Chomsky] seconds this opinion. He says that college is not a sorting mechanism for intelligence, but for conformity. You get A's not based on critical thinking, but on your ability to parrot back information an authority figure gives you. You then receive a dopamine drip to the brain for every "good grade" you get for echoing back the talking points verbatim. This trains you to find pleasure in conformity.

In the past, the oligarchical class has always siphoned wealth away from the general public. Now, the middle class is the victim of a pincer movement from both the rich and the poor to embezzle money from the productive class.
In "Between Two Ages," by Zbigniew Brzezinski, he (a man of the left) admits to the massive resource drain of having African-Americans in the country. He said that they are basically an agrarian population plunked into the middle of a post-industrial population. They are literally centuries behind everyone else. Because they can't compete, resources have to be diverted from the productive people to support and maintain unproductive people. Brzezinski openly wondered if this constant resource drain would lead eventually to America's collapse. And this at a time when blacks were about 10% of the US population and there were no illegal aliens making the same demands upon resources. Since his book was written in 1977, the welfare class has grown immensely. At the expense of the middle class.
Erik Bromberg, in "Evolutionary Ethics" also openly wonders about the wisdom of "re-litigating the past" and diverting resources for "reparations" and things, instead of investing in the future. Instead of jet-packs and cloud cities, money and energy are re-directed to smoothing us down to a common level of mediocrity, resulting in a sort of permanent Detroit.
Not to beat up on the poor classes. The rich have historically been the biggest parasites. Not the productive rich [like Henry Ford or Thomas Edison], but the UNPRODUCTIVE rich [i.e., the aristocracy]. Through manipulation of the laws and predatory taxation, they have created a massive resource drain from the productive class to themselves. Read Adam Smith's "The Wealth of Nations," chapter 11 to see just how destructive the aristocracy has been to society, and how their activities created mass unemployment and mass-poverty.
One of their scams is credentialing. Unless you have a license, permit (or college degree) you're locked out of employment . . . even if you have the skills to do a job. Unless you had a guild card to be a carpenter, you were NOT ALLOWED to work as a carpenter . . . even if you had skills and people wanted to buy what you sold. They would literally send the police out to arrest you for working. Smith comments that depriving a man of the right to work is to steal his wealth, for, as he comments, "all the poor have to trade is their labor. If you deny them the use of their labor you are, in essence, robbing the poor of their wealth".
This mass (synthetic) unemployment led to lots of people without jobs or homes. So the church stepped in to feed and house them. After Henry VIII kicked the Catholic Church out of England, then the state had to step in to provide charity. Thus England's "Poor Laws" were inaugurated leading to the earliest version of what we today call the "welfare state".
But mind you: All this mass unemployment was caused by legislation. It was wholly synthetic.It was created so that a small group of men could artificially diminish the labor pool, thus driving up wages for a small number of individuals . . . while creating mass poverty for everyone else.
